  • Bolt: The pigeons that Bolt meets in Hollywood are excited when they "get a nibble", then one pigeon tells the other, "Now don't freak out, this is how you blew it with Nemo!"
  • Brother Bear:
    • In a trailer for the film, which was attached to the theatrical release of Finding Nemo, Rutt and Tuke tell the audience to leave the theater if they're gonna see only one movie this year and it's not the movie they're about to see. When they notice some people leaving, Tuke says "Maybe they're gonna go find that Nemo guy." Note
    • In the actual movie, Nemo can be seen among the salmon that go flying when Kenai rides a mammoth through his brothers' fishing net.
  • Flushed Away: When Roddy gets flushed down the toilet, he encounters a fish who asks "Have you seen my dad?"
  • Monsters, Inc.: When Boo shows Sulley her room her the end, she hands him a clownfish squeak toy resembling Nemo. There's also a clownfish hanging up on the wall in the trailer where Randall is banished.
  • Toy Story:
  • In Turning Red, one of the bathroom stall doors in Mei's school has Nemo in sticker form.
  • Up: The anglerfish appears during Carl and Muntz's fight when Muntz strikes one of his exhibits with his sword.

  • A Cinderella Story: When a cook tries to distract Fiona and her daughters from finding out where Sam is after the dance, he shows them a dead fish and says "Nemo is no more."
  • Looney Tunes: Back in Action: When the Warner Bros. water tower falls and floods the studio, Bugs Bunny is seen fishing in Kate's car and says "Hey, what do you know! I found Nemo!"

  • In There's More Than One Way Home, Finding Nemo is the most recent movie Anna saw with Jack.
  • Juniper Sawfeather: In Cry of the Sea, Carter argues that the mermaids are social creatures, saying, "Do you know any fish that would help rescue each other?" Haley says, "The fish do that in Finding Nemo."

Live-Action TV

  • Law & Order: Criminal Intent: In "Depths", an FBI agent says "Let us know when you find Nemo."
  • In the Yes, Dear episode, "Natural Born Delinquents", the Warner and the Hughes families are having difficulties going to the movie theater due to Dominic and Logan arguing with each other. Jimmy tells Greg that they usually get to the movies pretty late because of it, citing one such example as, "By the time we got to Finding Nemo, they'd already found him.".
  • Modern Family: At one point in "Planes, Trains and Cars", Mitch holds up a plush toy of Nemo and calls him "Mr. Fish". Cam then says, "Really? You don't know Nemo?"
  • Parks and Recreation: In "Animal Control", Ron mentions having watched a film with his stepdaughters "in which an orange fish is separated from his father".
  • The Big Bang Theory: At one point in "The Fortification Implementation", Bernadette tells Howard's brother Josh, who's studying oceanography, that she loved Finding Nemo.
  • The Good Place: In "Jeremy Bearimy", which takes place in Australia, there is a running gag that Australia loved that the film took place in Australia and named everything after the film. Eleanor drinks at a bar called "Drinking Nemo". And there is a grocery store called ENG, which stands for "Eating Nemo Groceries", and a bank called FNB, which stands for "Financing Nemo Bank".

Video Games

  • Hytale: During the underwater segment of the game's announcement trailer, three fish similar to Dory, Marlin, and Nemo can be seen swimming together in the bottom-right corner.
  • In Infinite Craft, Nemo can be crafted by combining "Pixar" with "Clownfish".
  • LEGO The Incredibles:
    • At some points in the "Above Parr" level, some seagulls show up saying, "MINE!".
    • Dory is an unlockable character, unlocked by building the reef in the New Urbem Waterfront. Dory can swim underwater (which is necessary to complete underwater races), and on land, she is protected by an orb of water.
  • Two Dots: One of the achievement trophies for completing an Anchor Sink expedition is titled "Fish Are Friends", with a picture of a shark.
  • Przygody Reksia: In Captain Nemo, when Moles asks Willy Frogg where Nemo is, he responds that he's probably in Sydney (refering to the fish), before realizing he was asked about about the captain.

  • Honest Trailers:
    • Finding Nemo and Finding Dory were given their own trailers.
    • In the trailer for The Little Mermaid (1989), Flounder is nicknamed "Whining Nemo". There's also a mention in the alternate lyrics for "Les Poissons".

  • How It Should Have Ended provides an alternate ending to the film, where Nemo, Marlin, and Dory try to find their way back to Marlin's anemone, not remembering the way back due to passing out in the East Australian current and getting trapped inside a whale. They eventually decide to meet up with the Tank Gang, who are unfortunately moments away from dying due to being stuck in their plastic bags. In The Stinger, Dory asks the Tank Gang, who have somehow escaped from their plastic bags, if they want to appear in Finding Dory. Looks like they accepted the offer.

    • In "Bowser Junior's Pool Party", Cody tells Junior that he can't swim in Junior's pool because he's H2O Intolerant, paraphrasing Sheldon the Seahorse. In the same episode, when Cody nearly drowns from trying to swim, Junior paraphrases Marlin by saying, "You think you can do these things, but you just can't, Cody!".
    • One of the seagulls is prominently featured as the antagonist in "Mine!". In the same episode, Chef Pee Pee tries to cook Nemo, who even says, "Daddy! Help me!".
    • In "The Fishing Trip!", when Mario takes Jeffy fishing on Bowser's boat, Jeffy catches Dory. When Mario sees this, he tells Jeffy to put her back into the water, so that she can go to California to find her family.
    • In "Bowser Junior's Game Night 5", when Junior, Joseph, and Cody play "Prove It!", Joseph asks Cody to name 10 animated movies within 20 seconds. Among the movies Cody mentions are Finding Nemo and Finding Dory.
    • In "Chef Pee Pee's Date!", Chef Pee Pee and Lola watch a preview for Flushing Nemo at the movie theater.
  • Third Rate Gamer: Throughout his entire Little Nemo: The Dream Master review, he refers to the game as "Finding Nemo". This was based on The Irate Gamer's "Chris and Scottie Road Trip" video, where Bores is visiting Pixar and lists one of their movies as "Little Nemo".

  • American Dad!: In "Season's Beatings", Jeff decides to name his newly-adopted son "Nemo" after his favorite book: the novelization of Finding Nemo.
  • MAD:
    • At one point in the sketch "Cowboys & Alien Force", Dory makes a cameo.
    • The sketch "New Gill" has Ariel trying to hook up with Marlin, among other underwater characters.
    • The sketch "Taking Nemo" is a mashup of this film and Taken.
  • Muppet Babies (2018): In "Animal and the Little Accident", a clownfish and a blue tang can be seen swimming next to a statue of a merman with the Swedish Chef's face.
  • Robot Chicken:
    • In "The Robot Chicken Lots of Holidays But Don't Worry Christmas Is Still There So Pull the Stick Out of Your Ass Fox News Special", a Mother's Day sketch has various Disney characters mourning their dead moms. Marlin forces Nemo wear a yamika while he recites a Jewish prayer, which Nemo is against because he sees the concept of animals practicing religion as ridiculous.

    • A sketch from "May Cause Internal Diarrhea" has Coral appear as one of the inhabitants of the Heaven for dead Disney parents.
  • The Simpsons:
    • In "The Ziff That Came to Dinner", the film Eating Nemo is showing at the Springfield Googolplex.
    • The Couch Gag for "Fat Man and Little Boy" and "Home Away from Homer" has the Simpsons' couch turning out to be on the end of an anglerfish's lure.
    • In "The Mook, the Chef, the Wife and Her Homer", Fat Tony asks Bart and his friends if they would like to "sleep with the fishes" on a Finding Nemo bedspread.
    • In "Homer Scissorhands", it's revealed that Milhouse was never shown the film's opening scene (for obvious reasons). When he discovered it by himself, it took the entire fire department to get him out from under the couch.
    • In "Moe Goes from Rags to Riches", Bart is worried when Milhouse doesn't come crawling back to him after a falling-out, and Lisa says that "Even a kid who wears a Finding Nemo back brace has some pride."
