- Super Titan 15: There is a South Korean knockoff anime of Dairugger XV called Super Titan 15
(슈퍼타이탄15). It also cribs characters and vehicles from Galaxy Express 999. - Hikari Sentai Maskman: The Maskmen's giant robot "Great Five" slightly resembles Dairugger XV, especially with its red airplane chest plate and color scheme. They also share similar sword designs. Great Five's Gyro Cutter is not unlike the Spinning Laser Blades either.

- The "Turbo Robo" also uses cars as its feet and their wheels like roller skates. And yes, Turbo Robo has a BFS too, but you knew that already.

- Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger: When the different Guardian Beasts form Daizyujin, the Pteranodon Beast transforms into its chest plate the same way Patty Ellington's plane turns into Dairugger's chest plate.
- Robot Chicken: Dairugger's Voltron incarnation is called to action by an outpost being attacked by a Robeast, but the vehicles take too long to combine (partly because they messed up halfway through). By the time the Dairugger mech gets there, most of the crew is dead, and the sole survivor shoots himself when he realizes it's not the Lion Voltron.
