Playmaker manages to locate Bowman, and challenges him to a Duel in order to take back Jin's consciousness. Having Dueled Bowman before, Playmaker expects that he’ll use the same tactics. However, Bowman has become a much stronger Duelist than before, and drives Playmaker into a corner. Bowman then starts talking about his past. Just who is he...

This episode contains the following tropes:

  • Break Them by Talking: Not only does Bohman vow to push Playmaker into a state of despair and make him atone for his supposed crimes, Bohman also claims to be the real Yusaku while dismissively labelling Playmaker a fake.
  • Grand Theft Me: Bohman claims Yusaku unintentionally did this to him during the Lost Incident. Supposedly, Yusaku was a backup made from Bohman's memories and an accident caused the two to switch places.
  • It's Personal: With his new memories, Bohman bears a personal vendetta against Playmaker, and vows to push him into a state of despair in a Master Duel.
  • The Reveal: If Bohman is to be believed, not only was he one of the victims of the Lost Incident/Hanoi Project, he claims to be the real Yusaku and labels Playmaker as a fake.
  • Tender Tears: Ai gets teary when Linkuriboh fails to reduce "Twin Hydradrive Knight's" ATK to 0 due to Effect negation.
  • This Cannot Be!: Playmaker is shocked over Bohman's claim that he was not only one of the victims of the Lost Incident/Hanoi Project, but also the real Yusaku.
  • Xanatos Gambit: Noting Playmaker's concerns about Bohman's two Set cards (one of which turned out to be "Property Spray", the same Trap used in their Speed Duel), Bohman successfully tricks Playmaker into negating and destroying the first Set card, "Property Spray", enabling him to subsequently activate the other Set card, "Hydradrive Cycle".
