• Actually Pretty Funny: When Orlando hear's Jaden's Character Catchphrase ("Get your game on!"), he calls it a good opening line.
• Breather Episode: Jaden dueling a hammy actor pro duelist set between facing an Egyptian God the previous episode and a two parter of trying to break Sartorius' mind control over Chazz.
• Lethal Joke Character: Orlando may be a Large Ham who takes his acting career way too seriously, but he's a pro duelist for a reason and his skills keep Jaden on the backfoot for most of the duel.
• Loophole Abuse: When Jaden's Flame Wingman destroys Battle Claw Fox, that triggers an ability that will destroy Flame Wingman at the end of Jaden's turn. So Jaden gets around this by using De-Fusion to split Flame Wingman back into Avian and Burstinatrix, effectively canceling the special ability.
• Throw the Dog a Bone: Jaden finally gets his first tournament medal, assuming he didn't take Franz's medals in the previous episode.
• Weak, but Skilled: Most of Orlando's monsters, save Genghis Ghan the Emperor Dragon, have less than 1000 Attack Points but make up for it with powerful special abilities.
