With two Spirit Keys lost and Crowler and Zane turned into dolls, Jaden decides to stop Camula before any more of his friends are hurt. Can a gift from Alexis's brother help stop the vampire's assault?

  • Bittersweet Ending: Camula is gone and Crowler and Zane are returned to normal. However, two of the Spirit Keys have been taken, and as Jaden notes at the end, there are still five more Shadow Riders to defeat.
  • Bowdlerise: The english dub cuts around the scene of the Illusion Gate's claw grabbing Camula by the throat and ripping her soul out.
  • Dragged Off to Hell: After being defeated by Jaden, Camula's Illusion Gate ends up claiming her soul and pulling it inside. Afterwards her body is Reduced to Dust.
  • Earn Your Happy Ending: Camula is finally defeated with Crowler and Zane restored.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: With Jaden's shadow charm cancelling Camula's shadow necklace, she is not able to sacrifice other people's souls. Jaden gives her a chance to duel fair and square but she goes through with it anyway by offering her own soul. With Jaden winning, she loses her soul.
  • Light Is Good: Jaden's Elemental Hero Shining Flare Wingman. Both symbolically and practical. Jaden figures since he's dueling Shadow Riders, he should pack some light. Shining Flare Wingman gains 300 attack points for every Elemental Hero in the graveyard and carries Flame Wingman's "opponent's destroyed monster's attack points deduct from their life points" ability.
  • Moral Myopia: Camula tries to call out Jaden for cheating by using a card she hadn't seen in his deck through her spy creatures. Jaden rightfully calls her out on spying on him to get an advantage in the first place.
  • Right for the Wrong Reasons: When Camula first sees Shining Flare Wingman, she calls Jaden out for cheating because her spies never saw him place that card in his deck, meaning he had to have placed it in his deck at some point during the duel. Jaden admits that the card is a recent addition, but he actually added it just before the duel, after Camula had already conducted her reconnaissance.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: Atticus tells Jaden and Alexis that Camula can't be defeated by normal means and they need a shadow charm of their own to prevent her from using hers. He gives Jaden his half of the necklace protecting the other students and Professor Banner from Camula.
