"An Entrepreneurialist and a Swat on the Bottom" is an episode of Young Sheldon that first aired October 10, 2019.
This episode provides examples of:
- Aesop Amnesia: Sheldon learns his lesson at the end of the episode to not be selfish. Anyone who's watched The Big Bang Theory knows how well this stuck.
- Corporal Punishment: Sheldon is spanked by Connie for being rude to her
- Mouthy Kid: Sheldon both to his Meemaw and to his parents. Both times he gets punished, from the former spanking him and the latter grounding him.
- Never My Fault: Sheldon thinks that his Meemaw and his parents are the ones being selfish by not taking him to a lecture he wants to go to and are punishing him for no reason.
- Perfectly Cromulent Word: Georgie refers to himself as an "entrepreneurialist". When Veronica tells him that's not a real word, he says that he'll gladly invent a new word for her.
- The Runaway: Sheldon runs away after being grounded, intending to take a bus to go see Professor Sturgis, believing he is the only adult in his life he can trust now. He leaves behind a note explaining where he is going but puts it in Morse Code since he knew Missy would snoop on it as soon as he left. After it is translated, George calls the police to have them take Sheldon home.
