Jack Spicer and Vlad team up to steal the Heylin Seed from the Xiaolin Apprentices. The Seed grows into a talking plant Jack dubs "Gigi" who has plans to turn everyone on Earth into flora!
Tropes
- Butt-Monkey: While he’s always been one before, Jack’s abuse will continue to escalate from this point until next season (even then, it’s still worse than season 1).
- Cactus Person: What Jack becomes after getting blasted by Gigi's spores. He's the only character who becomes a leafless plant.
- Demoted to Extra: Wuya doesn’t appear outside of a photograph or the detectobot that Jack makes to replace her (though Susan Silo provides the robot’s voice).
- Eaten Alive: Gigi’s ultimate fate at the hands of the magic locusts unleashed by Raimundo.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: The "villain chatroom" that Vlad shows Jack has several previous villains chatting about Wuya leaving Jack for Chase, and PandaBubba asking if anyone knows who has what Wu because it's too hard to keep track of.
- French Jerk: Gigi’s default personality.
- Offhand Backhand: Raimundo does this to a tree to loosen the Moonstone Locust.
- Once an Episode: Raimundo vs. Gigi for the Moonstone Locust. Gigi throw in a Shen Yi Bu dare wagering his Reversing Mirror and Thorn of Thunderbolt against Raimundo's Falcon's Eye and Gills of Hamachi. Gigi gets done in by his own Shen Gong Wu when he loses the Reversing Mirror and then fires the Thorn of Thunderbolt at Raimundo who managed to retrieve the mirror sending the electric blast back at Gigi.
- Once Done, Never Forgotten: Vlad is one of several new partners that will mock Jack for being left by Wuya for Chase. The online chatrooms call it “being jacked”. Even the monks get in on it when Jack steals the Heylin Seed from them.
- Transflormation: The flowers of the Heylin Seed-plant turn Jack, Vlad, Dojo, and the Xiaolin Warriors (save Raimundo) into plants.
