"Color Fun": The wombats create a game where they do specific actions when someone says a color. One by one, they get the rest of the Treeborhood involved.
"Color Fun" contains the following tropes:
- Ahem: Leiko does this when the kids make too much noise during storytime.Leiko: Ahem! Is this playtime or storytime?
- Be the Ball: Mr. E tries to curl up into a ball as the wombats do, but injures himself in the process.
- Ceiling Cling: After the wombats and the crabs yell "Kablooey!" Mr. E gets scared and clings to the ceiling.
- Episode Tagline: "You can play too, if you work out the rules."
- Running Gag: The wombats do different things every time a color is mentioned:
- Red - they make robot noises
- Yellow - they deflate like balloons
- Blue - they yell "Kablooey!"
- Show Within a Show: Leiko reads a book called Levi Loves Colors to the kids during storytime, but had to stop because they were being noisy.
- String Theory: Mr. E uses an interconnected web of strings on a bulletin board to track information about the game that the wombats are playing. With this, he realizes how to play the game.
- Talking to Themself: Mr. E talks to himself.Mr. E: I wanna play too! Well, then figure out the rules, Mr. E. How do I do that? Follow them to see how they play the game. Good idea!
"A Super Invention": Super invents a way she can carry Malik, Zadie, and Zeke on her back.
"A Super Invention" contains the following tropes:
- Not-So-Innocent Whistle: The wombats secretly listen in on Super's plans, so they can find out what she's inventing. When she gets up from her workshop, the wombats start whistling.
- Title Drop: Towards the end of the episode, Malik calls Super's huggyback rider a "super invention."
