- The Big Damn Kiss: Bloom and Sky have their first actual kiss after an Imagine Spot in the Season 1 finale.
- Fusion Dance: The Trix do this to escape the place Darkar banished them to and so they can get back at Darkar.
- Grid Puzzle: The copied Codex pieces allow the Winx & co. an entrance to the dimension where Darkar and Dark Bloom are doing the ritual to open the Realix. For that purpose, however, there's a puzzle that involves some floating, colored tiles. Nobody can figure out how to solve it until Stella tries her hand at it. Being a Genius Ditz when it comes to fashion, she color-coordinates the tiles into a skewed grid of sorts; opening the portal as a result.
- How Did We Get Back Home?: The Trix sisters are stranded in the Realix dimension, which can only be accessed by reuniting the pieces of the Codex. Since the portal closed and they don't have the pieces on the other side, it's practically impossible for them to return to the Magix dimension. Come the next season and they are shown being transported to a high-security prison without any explanation given.
- "I Know You're in There Somewhere" Fight: Sky attempts to get through to Bloom before she gives Lord Darkar the Realix power he's been after. While Dark Bloom seems to hesitate, it doesn't appear to snap her out of it... at first. Just as Lord Darkar is about to absorb Realix, Bloom manages to use her healing powers to change herself back from Dark Bloom and heal her friends as well.
