Tropes:
- Exact Words: Towards the end, the teacher frames that his test about transformation was just that, a test. And it indeed taught his students about transformation, like how lack thereof integrity can transform a normally good person into a dishonest cheater.
- I Never Said It Was Poison: When the teacher is about to open the envelope containing "the answers", the other students covered in mud all flinch. He then remarks how suspicious it is that they're afraid, as if they know what's really in the envelope. Sure enough, inside it is a mud spell.
- Secret Test of Character: The teacher drops an envelope before any student he bumps into. It's obviously set up to look like it contains answers to the 'test'. Anyone who opens it will be covered in a mud spell, marking them as would-be cheaters. Bloom and her friends, on the other hand, never open it, no matter how tempting it would be to know the answers.
