- Synchronous Episodes: The events of this episode are basically happening at the same time as the epilogue of the Welcome To Night Vale novel, the ending even mirroring the book's ending.
- The Unreveal: How the barista crisis is resolved is never said, because like everything that isn't said, it is something that happens in the novel. Carlos gives each Troy Walsh a flamingo which takes them to their own dimension to live in.
