The Baby Bears venture into the sewers and meet a ninja-like martial arts master.
Tropes:
- Artistic License – Biology: The Sewer Gator is depicted with crocodile-like teeth like a stereotypical cartoon alligator.
- Exit, Pursued by a Bear: At the end of their adventure, the Baby Bears are chased away by the same dog that was chasing them in the beginning.
- Never Smile at a Crocodile:
- Palate Propping: Cheddar defeats the sewer gator by propping his metal crutch into its jaws.
- Sewer Gator: Panda is afraid of finding one in the sewer, but Grizz assures him it's just an urban legend. Eventually one does appear and tries to drag Slice down into the water, but Cheddar fights it into submission.
- Sibling Rivalry: Cheddar and Slice turn out to be twin brothers.
- Status Quo Is God: Played for Laughs, and a given considering that the adult Bears (well, aside from Ice Bear) have never demonstrated any of the martial arts skills they learn in this episode: as the Bears are leaving the sewers, Cheddar reminds them to keep practicing their ninjitsu, to which Grizz cheerfully replies, "We won't!"
- Suspiciously Similar Song: The song that plays during the Bears' training montage sounds an awful lot like Vanilla Ice's "Ninja Rap", fittingly enough.
- Whole-Plot Reference: To Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, particularly the 1980s show and films. Lampshaded by Panda when he thinks the adventures they just had seemed familiar.
