The Baby Bears escape their hectic lives by attending school.
Tropes:
- Air-Vent Passageway: Ronnie leads Panda and Ice Bear through the school's air ducts to the principal's office to rescue Grizz.
- Continuity Nod: Grizzly claims he and his brothers almost died in Boise, Idaho, possibly a reference to either "Baby Bears on a Plane" (where the Bears take a plane to Boise and Ice Bear had to make a Crash Course Landing) or "The Fair" (which takes place at a carnival in Boise).
- Dean Bitterman: The faceless principal is portrayed more like a dreaded vicious beast than an actual principal.
- The Faceless: Both the teacher and the principal. The teacher is always shown only from the neck down, while the principal is usually shown in shadow. Even the portrait in his office has his face scratched out for some reason.
- Noodle Incident:
- When the episode begins, the Baby Bears have just escaped from a guy in a monster truck. Grizz then says that's the last time they try to find a family in a demolition derby.
- Grizzly claims he knows the capital of Idaho is Boise because he and his brothers almost died there once.
- Title Drop: When the Bears get over-eager in answering the teacher's questions and they become unpopular, Ronnie tells them it's because they're trying to be the "teacher's pet".
- Writing Lines: Grizz's punishment for disrupting class is to be taken to the principal's office, where he's made to write on the chalkboard. Ronnie's retelling of this takes it to the extent that kids sent to the principal eventually turn into chalk.
