In order to appear on a successful kids show, Nom Nom must successfully complete anger management, with Grizz as his partner.

Tropes:

  • A Day in the Limelight: Grizz and Nom Nom are the only regulars on this episode.
  • Berserk Button: Making Nom Nom force a smile is this for him. The Corgis themselves are also this for him. Unfortunately, lots of smiling is what the director and the Corgis want.
  • Cathartic Scream: Nom Nom does does a muffled one whenever Grizz gives him a Cooldown Hug.
  • Cooldown Hug: Grizz finds out that he can somehow stop Nom Nom's anger entirely by giving him a Bear Hug.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: The episode revolves around Nom Nom's anger issues.
  • Incessant Music Madness: Part of the reason Nom Nom keeps losing his cool is having to do re-takes while listening to the Corgi's cheesy "Corgi Party" song.
  • Land Downunder: The Corgi actors and the director all speak with rather stereotypical Australian accents.
  • Let Us Never Speak of This Again: After agreeing to let Grizzly give him one last hug "for the road", Nom Nom tells him "This never happened!"
  • Nice Character, Mean Actor: Two In-Universe examples.
    • Nom Nom, of course. In fact, this episode deals with the consequences of his off-screen actions affecting his career.
    • The Kangaroo from "The Corgis". He acts very curt to Grizz when he approaches him and has him thrown out of the set just as Nom Nom needs him the most.
  • Periphery Demographic: In-Universe, Grizzly is a fan of The Corgis, and especially loves the Kangaroo.
  • Rapid-Fire "No!": Nom Nom lets out a long string of "NO!"s in response to seeing the "specialist" his therapist brought in is Grizzly.
  • "Sesame Street" Cred: Nom Nom wants to appear on the children's show "The Corgis" in order to boost his dwindling popularity. According to him, he's been trying to get on for years.
  • Show Within a Show: The Corgis.
  • Sugar Bowl: The Corgis seems to be this kind of show.
