Grizz screens an epic amateur movie he just made for a focus group. But when he notices people are leaving he must figure out ways to keep the audience engaged.

Tropes:

  • Acting for Two: In-Universe. Grizz plays Crowbar Jones, Pando, and the ninja, as well as voicing the President, Agent W, and Crowbar's girlfriend.
  • Call-Back: The Crowbar Jones movie series was first brought up in "Rooms".
  • Double Vision: Done badly in Grizzly's movie, with the images misaligned and Grizz occasionally moving past the split.
  • Fan Disservice: Grizzly's gratuitous Shower Scene (with painted-on biceps and abs) is the point at which the audience starts to leave.
Grizz: [to a leaving family of ducks] Wait. I-I swear this is a family film.
  • Focus Group Ending: The in-universe live ending to the movie, improvised in response to members of the group leaving.
  • Her Code Name Was "Mary Sue": The Crowbar Jones films are all about making Grizzly look cool. Grizz doesn't get the audience's attention back until he involves his brothers in the movie.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Pando ends up Taking the Bullet for Jones in the live staging of the end of the movie.
  • Pietà Plagiarism: At the end of the live staging of the movie, Crowbar Jones cradles the gravely wounded Pando in his arms.
  • Robotic Reveal: Done twice in Grizzly's movie. First, Crowbar Jones learns that the President has been abducted and replaced by a robot duplicate. Later, during the live alternate ending, Crowbar Jones learns the ninja that's attacking him is actually a robot-ninja hybrid.
  • Say My Name: In the live alternate ending, Crowbar Jones lets out an agonized cry of "PANDOOO!" after his sidekick is mortally wounded saving him from a robot-ninja assassin.
  • Show Within a Show: Grizz is confident enough to show a Crowbar Jones movie to the general public.
  • Stylistic Suck: Grizzly's home-made Crowbar Jones movie is full of cheap props and sets (including a city panorama obviously made from cardboard boxes), bad editing, and over-acting.
  • The End... Or Is It?: After the live ending, Ice Bear runs a blackboard with "The End" written on it, and a question mark on his ninja outfit.'
  • Took a Level in Badass: In the live alternate ending to Crowbar Jones 2, Pando helps Crowbar Jones defeat the robot ninja.
  • Write What You Know: In-universe. Pando and Panda do both use their cell phone a lot, and Panda just happened to trip on that rock during the live ending.
