Feeling underappreciated by his brothers, Ice Bear takes a job at a Japanese restaurant, leaving the helpless Grizz and Panda to try and find a new brother.

- Butt-Monkey: As a replacement Ice Bear, the bears make Darrel do everything Ice Bear does for them, up to and including being the bottom of the Bearstack.
- Crazy-Prepared: Trying to make amends with Darrel, the bears visit him at his mouse pad store and try to apologize with messages written on mousepads. Darrel accepts, bringing out a custom-made "Apology Accepted" mouse pad with him on it.
- Dude, Where's My Respect?: The plot point and why Ice Bear decided to leave his home to work at restaurant.
- Exact Words: When the owner of the restaurant says Ice Bear went to the airport, Grizz and Panda think he's there to take a flight, but really, he just got transferred to a restaurant at the airport
- Flair Bartending: Ice Bear shows impressive showmanship as a teppanyaki chef.
- Good Night, Sweet Prince: Panda says this to a cloud shaped like Ice Bear
- Hypocrite: Panda talks about how Ice Bear doesn't care about him and Grizz after he ran away because he felt like his brothers didn't care about him.
- My God, What Have I Done?: After Darrel quits, the bears realize that they took Ice Bear for granted and rush to get him back.
- Operation: Jealousy: A platonic, brotherly example. When things aren't quite working out with Darrel, the bears decide to all go out to Ice Bear's restaurant to eat, hoping Darrel will make him jealous.
- Race for Your Love: By the time the bears are ready to apologize to Ice, he's been transferred to another location and is on his way to the airport, prompting a race to get there in time.
- Rebound Best Friend: Ice Bear gets fed up with Grizz and Panda's ingratitude for his cooking and spends more time working as a sushi chef. They try to replace him with a meek fellow named Darryl, who gets upset when they try to make him pull off Ice Bear's martial arts and bear stacking prowess. When the bears realize they need to apologize, they start with Darryl, who even manages to join the bear stack and get to the airport to find Ice Bear. In later episodes, Darryl is shown to have become one of the bros' best friends.
- Replacement Goldfish: When they realize Ice Bear has left them, they put out a want ad and hire a human named Darrel to be their new brother.
- Severely Specialized Store: Darrel works at a store that only sells mousepads.
- Tranquil Fury: Because it's Ice Bear, rather than cause a scene when he loses his patience, he just quietly throws the food he made out in the garbage and announces he's going out for a walk.
