Grizzly and Ice Bear try to cheer Panda up after his Internet girlfriend breaks up with him by crashing a kid's birthday party.
The pilot contains the following tropes:
- A Bloody Mess: Ice Bear drinks punch, which stains the fur around his mouth red.
- Beware the Nice Ones: Grizzly goes nuclear at a little kid for pushing Panda and slashes him on the back for it.
- Early-Installment Weirdness:
- This episode featured slightly rougher animation. The bears are taller and slimmer, have larger eyes, larger and lightly colored noses, Grizzly's fur is lighter, and the colors are much less saturated compared to the final show.
- Ice Bear, while still being monotone, has a little more emotion in it than usual. Also, he speaks a little slower.
- Mythology Gag: The bears introduce themselves to the kids in a similar way they do in the comic, the only difference is "I am an Ice Bear, brr" becomes "My name is Ice Bear, brr".
- Shout-Out: While trying to make him feel better, Grizz mistakenly assumes Panda knows Kung Fu.
- Vocal Evolution: Ice Bear's voice has more of an emotional range and is slower.
- Would Hurt a Child: Grizzly scratches a young boy for pushing Panda, although he does quickly regret it.
