Big Storm Episode: A major storm threatens Dallas, and Walker and Trivette race against time to find the burial site before either the kids, CD and Alex run out of air or the tornado blows the bus away.
Buried Alive: As in previous episodes, being buried alive and left for dead, and (of course) the bad guys refusing to reveal where the bus is, is a life-traumatizing experience for the kiddies.
Bus Full of Innocents: Extortionists seeking a $10 million ransom bury the school bus full of children – along with CD and Alex – returning home from a field trip.
Even Evil Has Standards: One of the bad guys, namely Paul Richardson, is horrified when he sees that they're going to bury the bus without oxygen tanks, meaning that they intend to leave the kids to die even if the ransom is paid. He angrily declares "I'm no murderer!", only for the leader to declare that he is and shoot him. Walker and Trivette are able to find Richardson just before the storm could hit the bus, and Richardson points out their location with his last breath.
Everything's Better with Rainbows: The final scene, after the rescue and passing of the storm... and the eventual defeat of the bad guys, of course, as Walker, Trivette and the FBI trail them to their hideout later that night and arrest them all.
Just in Time: Walker and company get there to rescue the kids as the bus is crumpling under the weight of the dirt and with only seconds to go before the storm hits.
