Shiro wakes up to find himself in another Galra cruiser and manages to escape. Unbeknownst to him, the commander speaks of an "Operation: KURON" where they let him escape. Shiro then lands on an ice planet and meets two rebels who give him a shuttle. Shiro uses the shuttle to stealthily re-board the cruiser and makes his way to Voltron. After a week of open travel in space, Keith finds Shiro and takes him home.

- A Day in the Limelight: This episode focuses exclusively on Shiro and his journey to reunite with Voltron.
- Didn't Think This Through: The rebels lent Shiro their only ship, which they need use to get their monthly supplies. The small aliens expression sells it.
- Easily Forgiven: The big rebel who wanted to eat Shiro apologizes for hanging from the ceiling by his wrists. Shiro apologizes for hitting him in the face with his friend's gun. The rebel accepts it easily, noting that it's apparently happened before.
- Heal It With Fire: Shiro uses his Galra arm to cauterize the wound on his leg.
- Just Eat Him: One of the aliens wonder if they should just eat Shiro instead of saving him.

- Scream Discretion Shot: As Shiro frighteningly lowers his glowing hand onto his leg wound, the camera pans out to the skeleton he's using as shelter just as he screams.
- Seriously Scruffy: Shiro wakes up with longer hair and a slowly growing beard compared to his usual militaristic and clean look.
- Spot the Thread: Shiro asks himself why he was captured again by a Galra ship and how he ended up there.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Keith is extremely relieved when the Black Lion senses Shiro and is able to rescue him.
