Who Did it to Trina?
When Trina is cast in Tori's first directed play and she suffers an accident on opening night, the gang has to find out what went wrong and who is responsible for it.
Tropes:
- Blackmail: According to Tori, Trina twisted her arm into getting the lead in the play Tori is directing by threatening Tori's favourite childhood toy.
- The Cameo: Nathan Kress is in the audience during the play.
- Commonality Connection: Trina and Sinjin bond over the fact they get their feet bleached at the same place.
- For the Evulz: Presumably why Jade recorded video footage of Trina's accident and posted it online.
- Hypocritical Humor: Robbie and Rex joking that Tori is a little too old to be playing with dolls.
- Mystery Episode: With the investigation into the accident.
- The Reveal: Turns out it was Rex who was responsible for Trina's injury, as he cut the wire as revenge for Trina punching him in the face. Robbie had to cover for him.
- Running Gag: Jade periodically mentioning how many views the video of Trina's accident has gotten online.
- Also Jade teasing Tori yet again in a Southern Belle accent.
Tori: Oh come on! Nobody here would do that to Trina.Jade:Except you.Tori: What, me?!Jade: [in a Southern Belle voice] Who, me? Why I would never harm my dear sister,Trina! Not me, sweet Sally Peaches! - Skewed Priorities: As Trina is flailing around in the air in distress, Cat bemoans over the destruction that she is making over the ranch house set.
- Unreliable Narrator: Tori and Jade have varying accounts of what happened, notably making each other much less pleasant than normal.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: After getting injured, Trina was absent for the rest of the episode, presumably in the hospital. She does appear in the flashbacks, though.
- Whodunnit: The plot of the episode.
- You No Take Candle: How Jade speaks in Tori's recollection of events before the play.
