Moving on from the ISV-Kran Deck 4 Deck 4 Warehouse, Prisoner 849 enters the central part of the Inuit Corp's Science Vessel. Proceeding further requires bringing the primary turbolift back online, but with the ship's engine down, it has no power. It is necessary to activate the cooling system beforehand and liberate some reserve power, but the corridors are crawling with Skaarj, who won't let you access the first deck so easily.


ISV Kran: Decks 3 & 2 contain examples of the following:

  • Force-Field Door: Until you destroy the gold cores a force field will block your way to the ship's engine.
  • No OSHA Compliance: There are no handrails on catwalks and elevated platforms, one passage is flooded by corrosive coolant fluid leak and standing too close to the wrong side of hatch doors gets you squished. It is also possible to jump right into the main engine's field after bringing it back online.
  • Red Herring: There's no need to pay a visit to the Shuttle Bay - a tall cylindrical chamber beyond massive door in the hub. Unless you really want that Super Health Pack, Jump Boots and Shield Belt, there's really no point in goin inside and fighting off droves of Skaarj at the top platform.
