Tropes
- Series Continuity Error: Issue 5 had Magneto claim his entire family was killed in a genocide (with an image of The Holocaust in the background), a trait he supposedly at the time shared with his mainstream counterpart. On the other hand, this arc has Erik claim that he was born into a wealthy American family, with whom he no longer has connections. Made even more confusing by Ultimate Origins, which establishes that Ultimate Magneto was in fact the son of two Canadian Weapon X agents (both of whose deaths he was responsible for) and was a teenager in the '80s to boot.
