Tuca and Bertie go to Planteau to attend Speckle's sister Dottie's bachelorette party. Bertie tries to stay sober, but eventually gives in and starts drinking in an attempt to fit in with the crowd.
Speckle, meanwhile, finds that his brother-in-law-to-be is involved with some shady dealings.
This episode provides examples of:
- Break Them by Talking: Bertie scares away a heavily armed Plant mugger, and keeps him from stealing Tuca's fanny pack, just by angrily telling him off.
- Multi-Armed and Dangerous: The Plant Mugger uses vine appendages to hold at least six guns.
- Mushroom Samba: Poor Speckle gets hits with a cloud of hallucinogens as a 'thank you' from a sentient potted plant.
- Portmantitle: The episode title is a portmanteau of "plant" and "plateau".
- Skinny Dipping: Tuca and most of the bacherlorette party guests go swimming naked in a public pool at the first opportunity. The only ones who don't swim naked are Dottie, who fears the repercussions of being seen nude in public, and Bertie, who isn't willing to disrobe because of her initial decision to stay sober and not feeling drunk enough to bare all.
- Vocal Dissonance: The French bulldog cops are adult men, but are clearly voiced by little girls.
