Big Damn Heroes: Bulkhead coming from a Ground Bridge to save Optimus from Megatron and at least for a few seconds clobbers Megatron around to keep him away from Optimus.
Fowler:(barges into the base) What have you learned, Prime? And you better not blow smoke up my a- (turns and sees June) Uh! ... Miss Darby! What a nice surprise!
Demoted to Dragon: In a reversal of G1, Megatron actually wants to serve Unicron, but Unicron considers Megatron so insignificant he's not even worth noticing.
Do Not Touch the Funnel Cloud: Zig-Zagged. The tornado drags June's car towards it long before the funnel cloud comes close to it, and lifts it into the air as well before Bumblebee grabs onto it. But then June and Raf climb out of the car to get into Bumblebee's hands. Winds strong enough to pull the car like that should have sucked them off the moment they got out of the car.
Evil Is Petty: Unicron proves even worse than any of the Decepticons. Megatron simply claiming he played a role in Unicron's revival sets him off. Optimus attempts to appeal to his ego to get him to spare humanity, but the thought of life existing on him causes Unicron to see humans as parasites.
Fighting a Shadow: Unicron is the Earth, so he can create copies of himself from surface materials. He first emerges from a rock wall to face Optimus. When Optimus finally manages to smash it, more copies emerge from the ground or walls.
Flashback: A brief one, as Optimus explains the ancient battle between Primus and Unicron.
Humans Are Insects: Unicron dismisses Optimus's plea to spare humanity regarding them as nothing more than parasites living on his body.
I Am Legion: "For Unicron may be one, but we all are Unicron!"
June tries to pull the human kids out of Team Prime's base stating they need to go about their lives as usual in school. Jack retorts that Unicron is threatening the existence of humanity as a whole and throwing the planet into chaos by triggering a series of apocalyptic events such as tornadoes, tsunamis and hurricanes and none of what she says (Grades, proms, pimples) matter at this point. She's not wrong in stating that the children shouldn't be involved in war but, considering the crisis at hand, school is the least of their worries right now.
Optimus and the others for allowing June to pull Raf out of the base, resulting in Raf and June nearly getting sucked into a tornado forcing Bumblebee to intervene.
Megatron: This is merely the beginning! I now possess enough Dark Energon to reanimate Unicron himself! (laughs) YESSSS! (laughs)
I Work Alone: Unicron refuses Megatron's offer to work for him, feeling he doesn't need his help or anyone's.
Me's a Crowd: What Unicron lacks in size in this series, he'll make up for in number.
Mythology Gag: A flashback summarizes the Primus/Unicron conflict. The Thirteen also appear.
"The Reason You Suck" Speech: Unicron denigrates Megatron's strength after Megatron offers to be his servant and destroy Optimus, as Unicron backtalks Megatron still allowed the Prime to live anyways due to being too weak.
Wham Episode: Our planet turns out to be inhabited by a gigantic alien robot. Who knew?
Fowler: Maybe we can find the hole this Ubercon left when he dug himself all the way down there and fill it full of explosives. Optimus: Agent Fowler, I do not believe that Earth became Unicron's home, but rather that, with time and gravitational force, debris collected around the slumbering titan. Ratchet: Forming your Earth, itself. Fowler is rendered speechless
What Measure Is a Non-Human?: Inverted. Unicron has no regard for any species, but he seems particularly enraged when Optimus appeals to him for humanity's survival.
Unicron: So, this human-kind of whom you speak, you consider them my progeny? Optimus: Indeed. Unicron: PARASITES! They, too, shall know my wrathful hand... once I have finished with you!
When He Smiles: Optimus briefly smiles when he sees a recovering Raf. It makes him look adorable.
You're Not My Father: When June says the kids have to leave the Autobots, Miko points out that June isn't her mother and she doesn't have to listen to her.
