Powerglide befriends a young woman named Astoria who is being targeted by the Decepticons. It would stand to reason the Decepticons are targeting Astoria is because she might have a secret formula her father was working on before he died and left his company to her. When the Decepticons abduct Astoria, Powerglide must find her and rescue her. But can they stop Megatron from getting his hands on Astoria's father's formula?

- A Birthday, Not a Break: Astoria gets kidnapped by the Decepticons on her birthday.
- Forgot About His Powers: Soundwave never thinks to use his mind-reading powers on Astoria...though she most likely would have messed it up as well.
- Interspecies Romance: As the title implies, Astoria falls in love with Powerglide. He shows signs of reciprocating.
- Oh, Crap!: Megatron, twice. First when Soundwave tells him "What forcefields?!" when the Decepticon leader orders the forcefields on their base to be energized when the Sky Platform is falling towards the Revenge and again when the base starts flooding after the Sky Platform makes impact.
- Pity the Kidnapper: Megatron kidnaps Astoria in order to get her father's formula but she quickly drives him, Soundwave and Rumble up the wall with her complaining and her weird ability to jinx tech making all the torture methods ineffective.
