Megatron and Soundwave open up a Discothèque in New York that turns its patrons into slaves. And it's up to Tracks, Raoul and Blaster to stop them.
- Ballroom Blitz: Blaster battles Soundwave on the dance floor. Soundwave proves to be more than a match for Blaster until he uses some speakers to give Soundwave a taste of his own medicine.
- Crucified Hero Shot: A non-fatal example sees Tracks tied up like this to the Dancitron's sound system. He's freed by the Bop Crew the moment they find him.
- A Day in the Limelight: For Tracks and Blaster, as outside of them and Teletraan, none of the other Autobots show up this episode.
- Evil Laugh: Soundwave laughs during his sonic duel with Blaster. It sounds every bit as creepy as you'd expect.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: Slowing down the footage reveals that the animators managed to sneak an upskirt panty shot in after the runaway train blows through the station.
- Mass Hypnosis: The customers of Dancitron become servants of Megatron.
- Person as Verb: “Let’s pull a Michael Jackson, and beat it”.
- Weaksauce Weakness: Water cancels the hypnotic spell of its victims. Raoul manages to get Pop-Lock and Rocksteady back over to his side thanks to this.
- Work Off the Debt: As Raoul and his gang lose their boombox during the episode's events, Blaster is forced to serve as a substitute until they get the money for a new one. Not that Tracks seems to mind.
- You Don't Look Like You: Raoul’s colours other than his hair are totally different from “Make Tracks”. Most notably, he’s now white, as opposed to Native American.
