The Maltos and Terrans are taken on a trip to the Space Bridge Memorial Bridge courtesy of Megatron, which ends up opening up more than just bad memories for the old warlord.
Tropes:
- The Cameo: Blitzwing and Astrotrain, in shuttle mode, are depicted in artwork at the memorial of them attacking the White House alongside Seekers. Notable in that they're the only Cons featured in the artwork who haven't appeared in the series proper yet.
- Continuity Nod: Megatron retains the damage Mandroid inflicted on him in Age of Evolution when he tried to remove his arm.
- Fantastic Racism: Shockwave is disgusted at the Terrans' existence, regarding them as abominations.
- Flashback Stares: Megatron goes into a few of these over the course of the episode, each time to the last battle of the Transformers War.
- He Who Fights Monsters: Implied with Shockwave, and the rest of the Decepticons by extension, with his comments of saying they'll make planet Earth kneel before them and regarding the Terrans as lower-class lifeforms. Megatron responding the Decepticons have learned nothing then if that's what they believe. A reference to the Decepticons originating as a lower-class uprising in most modern Transformers media.
- Human Popsicle: Shockwave was forcibly placed in some form of stasis chamber under the Memorial where he remained in the decades since the war ended.
- Screw Destiny: Thrash exhibits this attitude towards what he believes is Megatron trying to foist the hopes for the survival of the Cybertronian species on the young Terrans. Mo, however, points out he's more trying to teach them to avoid the same mistakes he and his generation made.
