After Robbie declares himself too old for the yearly Wakwak-hunt, Alex decides to include Bumblebee in the tradition and teach him about his culture. Meanwhile Twitch, while looking for a tradition of her own, encounters the Autobot Wheeljack, who created the drones her altmode is based off.

- Dual Wielding: Alex, Bumblebee, Twitch and eventually Robbie all equip themselves with two sticks for the Wakwak Hunt. Robbie and Alex later wield said sticks with great efficiency against the arachnamechs attacking them.

- Parental Substitute: Zig-zagged. After finding out Wheeljack made the drone she scanned to get her altmode, Twitch immediately dubs him her "Dad 2". Not because she finds Alex lacking in any way, it's just a connection she naturally makes.
- Parents as People: While Wheeljack does warm up to Twitch over the course of the episode and comes to accept his role as her "Dad 2", it's made painfully clear that he's too absentminded to cover her emotional needs.
