30F - Workshop Battle: One Shot, One Opportunity

    Season 2: Ch. 58 (Chapter 137)

Before starting the "One Shot, One Opportunity" game on Sepia Island, Io of Workshop explains its rules to the E-rank Regulars:

  • 1) Provided revolver handguns, each Regular is given 1 of 248 bullets that act as the tickets to get invited into the Archimedes. Their starting bullet is permanently set to a dark bullet.
  • 2) Regulars can fire dark bullets at opposing Regulars to eliminate people from the game. Successfully shooting someone with a dark bullet will invite the shooter up to the Archimedes.
  • 3) Regulars can steal bullets from opposing Regulars. Those who had their bullet stolen are eliminated from the game.
  • 4) Stolen bullets utilize the Dark and Light mode. They can either be set as the usual dark bullets, or they can be set to light bullets. Those that are shot by stolen light bullets are invited into the Archimedes.
  • 5) You can't self-invite by shooting yourself.
  • 6) Missing a shot with a dark bullet eliminates the shooter.
  • 7) Two items developed by Workshop are up for grabs in the game, the Blood Tamara, and the White Heavenly Mirror. The shooter who first hits someone with a dark bullet is awarded the Blood Tamara, and the person who invites the most people into the Archimedes is awarded the White Heavenly Mirror.
  • 8) A Bong Bong fairy wanders around the area, and if shot by a light bullet, it will automatically invite the shooter up to the Archimedes, and reward said shooter with a special item.
  • 9) Players are eliminated if they use their guns on people who aren't Regulars.

Given a minute to prepare before the game starts, Khun, Dan and Wangnan go over the rules, which Khun deduces that it will be easier to try to win the White Heavenly Mirror. Khun also thinks about Shibisu's Team wanting to defeat Viole, and gets the sense that this game is going to become chaotic. He then spots two Regulars on his Lighthouse having already left their dormitory, and decides to plant a trap for them. At this point, the One Shot, One Opportunity game has officially begun.

Using Wangnan as a guinea pig, Khun aims his gun at the latter claiming that he's after the Blood Tamara item, which causes Wangnan to realistically scream out in fear. This results in Khun catching the two Regulars he spotted earlier off-guard where they charge into their dorm to investigate the scream, but are caught and tied up by Khun and Dan, which they manage to steal their two bullets. Khun is then contacted by Goseng from her Lighthouse, who informs him that while Akraptor and Ehwa is with her at the top of the island observatory, they lost contact with Prince and Miseng. Thinking up his next plan, Khun informs the team that they're about to do something crazy.

Meanwhile, Shibisu's Team springs into action. However, due to renting a dormitory far from the island's main city, he, Hatz, Anaak and Lauroe are forced to run towards it while the tickets begin to drastically decrease. Hatz deduces that it's because people are wasting bullets early trying to win the Blood Tamara item. Shibisu figures that their first objective is to gather the rest of their team, but are stopped by the sudden arrival of Endorsi.

Endorsi reveals to the team that she had already caught four Regulars that have been trying to take pictures of her, and hands their four stolen bullets over to Shibisu. One of the defeated Regulars reveals the location of FUG's hotel dormitory to them, which Shibisu decides that since they already have four tickets early in the game, there's an opportunity to attack FUG. Team Shibisu head off towards the FUG Team's dormitory, but it turns out that Endorsi had used her Emily terminal to find Viole's true location at D-52, and heads off on her own to go there instead.

In the FUG Team's dormitory, Reflejo is annoyed with Sia for losing sight of Viole. Before the FUG team could plan their next move, Yuto, the second FUG newcomer in the group, informs the team that they have an enemy visitor watching them from the nearby light tower. They see that the one watching them is the Fake Jahad Princess, Anaak.

    Season 2: Ch. 59 (Chapter 138)

Shibisu and Hatz are seen on the roof of a building looking down at Cassano guarding the door for his FUG Team's dorm. Having a four bullet advantage, Shibisu and Hatz wait on standby hoping that the rest of their team will soon join them. With 165 tickets remaining Shibisu gives the order that they will attack when the counter drops below 100. Meanwhile within FUG's dorm, they confirm that Anaak is just waiting outside to pressure them, which Reflejo decides that their best option is to stay put until Viole returns. Ran asks about their next plan if Viole doesn't return, which Reflejo answers that once the tickets drop below 100, they will have to fight through Anaak and her team.

Meanwhile within the sewer room, D-52, Viole finishes setting up Traveller's bomb trap, and the two finally introduce themselves to one another. Viole provides his true 25th Bam name to hide his FUG identity, and Traveller reveals that he's being chased by the Workshop patrols, because he's been trying to break into the Archimedes to save the girl he loves from them. He also reveals that he discovered beforehand that the main prize of winning the entire Workshop Battle is going to be some sort of human, which he believes will be Emile being handed off to the winner. At this point, Workshop's Blue Dog patrol robot finally breaks into D-52.

Traveller sets off the trap bomb that Viole set, but is shown to have no effect on Blue Dog. Thus, Traveller suggests to Bam that they run away. Viole chooses to fight the Blue Dog robot head on, but he has his efforts stalled when Endorsi comes smashing through the ceiling, and kicks the Blue Dog robot away, much to Viole's surprise seeing Endrosi again. Endorsi then points her game revolver at Viole, and gives her greeting to the Slayer-Candidate. Meanwhile, Wangnan's seen running through the city streets in order to put Khun's crazy plan into action.

    Season 2: Ch. 60 (Chapter 139)

Upon closer look, Endorsi notes how the Slayer-Candidate looks ordinary, but feels like she's seen him somewhere before. Traveller remains confused given that Viole told him that his name is Bam as Endorsi gets distracted by the appearance of Viole's game revolver finally being summoned to him. Thus, Viole uses the opening to stall her with an immobilization Bang. With the cover of Traveller's bombs, the two escape the D-52 sewer room. Endorsi uses her Emile terminal to try to find the Slayer-Candidate's new location, but continues to feel that he's somehow familiar after being hit by an immobilization Bang similar to Bam's. At this point, an ominous figure appears behind her.

Having escaped out of the D-52 room, and realizing that the Workshop robot patrols have given up the chase, Viole and Traveller decide that it's finally time to part ways. Traveller doesn't believe that a nice guy like Bam is Viole, and departs while stating that he hopes to see each other again on the Archimedes. Viole then puts his newly acquired revolver against his Pocket to learn what's going on, and sees that he's now a participant in the One Shot, One Opportunity game. Remembering what Traveller told him about the grand Workshop prize being a human, Viole realizes that he needs to return to his FUG Team as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Blarode and Quaetro are seen having made it to the 30th Floor, and are taking part in the game having already stolen many bullets. They attack the Sepia Island observatory to defeat the Akraptor, Goseng and Ehwa group of Team Sweet-and-Sour. Blarode manages to be quick enough to hold Akraptor at gun-point, but their effort's are stopped by the arrival of Wangnan, Khun, and Dan, who snuck up on Quaetro to hold the latter up at gun-point. Not wanting this to get ugly, Khun compromises with Blarode and Quaetro by offering to send the two of them up to the Archimedes if they hand over their bullets. Blarode doesn't comply at first, but switches to go along with it when Khun reminds Blarode that the latter lost an eye during their previous fight.

Blarode and Quaetro are hit with light bullets, and are teleported to the Archimedes. Goseng asks for their next task to be to go looking for Miseng and Prince, but Khun informs her that they need to learn to deal with this issue themselves if they're to stand a chance in the Workshop Battle, which Akraptor agrees with. Goseng stubbornly agrees with it as Khun hits her, Akraptor and Ehwa with light bullets to send them off to the Archimedes.

Elsewhere, after a major battle, Miseng and Prince have been captured by Verdi; one of Shibisu's new recruits who fights with a pet octopus. Verdi is met by her teammates, Vespa (the other new Team Shibisu recruit) and Aleksai, who have come to pick her up to return to Shibisu. Agreeing to do so, she takes Miseng and Prince with her; having gained an interest in the two. At the FUG dormitory, Aleksai, Vespa and Verdi return to Shibisu as the game tickets drop to 100. The fight against the FUG Team begins as Anaak charges in through their dorm window, but she's met by Ran. At the FUG dorm entrance, Cassano is greeted by Hatz as the two prepare for a rematch.

    Season 2: Ch. 61 (Chapter 140)

Sia informs the rest of the FUG Team of Anaak and Hatz's location as Viole finally makes contact with her to inform the team that he's on the way. Viole is told by Sia of the FUG Team's current situation against Team Shibisu as the Slayer-Candidate steals a couple bullets from a few E-rank Regulars attempting to attack him along the way. Meanwhile at the FUG Team's dorm, Nobic catches up to Ran as the two team up to take on Anaak, who's refusing to leave peacefully. Nobic attempts to deflect her powerful kick, but underestimates the power of a Fake Jahad Princess, and gets bashed down the hallway.

Meanwhile, the sword-wielding Hatz starts his duel with Cassano, which the latter tries to convince the former to stop trying given that swords have no effect on him being the weapon known as the Devil of the Right Arm. Shibisu and Vespa get into position to make their move as he gets word that Hatz has encountered the Devil of the Right Arm. In return, Shibisu admits that he didn't expect Cassano to have joined up with FUG. Vespa asks about Cassano, which Shibisu reveals to her that Hatz lost badly in a previous fight on the 20th Floor against the Devil of the Right Arm not being able to get a scratch in. However, Shibisu figures that this time will be different.

Hatz fights with Cassano, sword vs. devil arm, but unlike their first fight, Hatz manages to cut open Cassano's skin. Cassano remains confused as to what's different, which Hatz reveals that all he did was train harder than ever before. Cassano remains confused by the answer as Hatz continues to back the Devil of the Right Arm into a corner using his Ghost Fish Wheel Dance - Single Annihilation sword technique. At that same time in the FUG Team's dorm, Nobic was knocked out of commission due to the powerful kick from the Fake Princess, Anaak, that had half of Jahad's power from her mother passed down to her. Thus, Ran prepares to fight Anaak one-on-one by making a thundercloud.

    Season 2: Ch. 62 (Chapter 141)

Hatz forces Cassano to his knees, and then orders for the Devil of the Right Arm to tell him why he joined FUG. Cassano mentions that he envies how a sword gets stronger with the owner, like what Hatz just proved to him, but before Cassano could answer any further, a nearby explosion distracts the both of them that gives Cassano a chance to destroy Hatz's sword. With Hatz's weapon broken, Cassano gives his last regard stating that he will see Hatz again at Workshop as the sound of a revolver is heard that implies that Hatz got sent off to the Archimedes by someone.

Meanwhile, Ran duels with Anaak one-on-one utilizing the thundercloud to act as smokescreen cover, and lands a couple close-combat hits on Anaak while also trying to hit her with lighting spears. Annoyed by Ran's smokescreen that he's jumping in-and-out of, the Fake Princess reveals herself as a user of four shinsu Bangs, and blows the cloud away. Their close-quarter duel eventually reaches a point where they're both aiming their revolvers at one another, but before they could fire a dark bullet, they're duel gets interrupted by Viole, who shoots two light bullets at them to send Anaak and Ran up to the Archimedes.

Meanwhile, Verdi takes her position underneath the FUG dormitory on guard with her pet octopus. She's seen playing around with her unconscious captives, Miseng and Prince, by putting wedding crowns on the two of them as if they're a newly-wed couple. Nearby, Wangnan is seen peaking around the corner at Verdi; having found his two missing teammates.

    Season 2: Ch. 63 (Chapter 142)

Khun, who was originally against performing the rescue, informs Wangnan that he needs to save Miseng and Prince on his own since it was Wangnan's idea. Khun reminds Wangnan that the latter needs to learn the difference between wishes and reality that trying to save everyone will result in the savior losing everything. However, Wangnan mentions that it's not worth going up the Tower using the philosophy, which Khun starts to understand why Bam teamed up with him. Upon finding out that the enemy they're dealing with is the dangerous doll-making Verdi from Shibisu's Team, Khun realizes that he needs to get involved as well knowing that Team Shibisu is trying to pull something big. Meanwhile, a pair of red eyes is seen following after Khun.

After sending Ran and Anaak up to Workshop, Viole checks on the injured Nobic, who's able to walk fine. Sia's Lighthouse appears before them, which she informs them of two new enemies, Shibisu and Vespa, have entered FUG's dormitory from underground. Not wanting FUG to hurt his old Floor of Tests teammates, Viole uses Shibisu's intellect as the plan maker as an excuse to Sia that he needs to be the one to take care of things. Viole then whispers an order to Nobic to perform a certain task while the Slayer-Candidate heads off to fight the new intruders alone.

At the FUG dormitory's main stairwell, Shibisu and Vespa encounter the red-masked FUG teammate, Yuto, waiting for their arrival, and are forced to battle it out. Shibisu had come up with a plan utilizing unseen shinsu blasts from Lauroe firing through the walls at Yuto based on the Scout Observer coordinates that Shibisu sends to Lauroe. While that's going on, Yuto has to battle Vespa in close-combat while also having to avoid Lauroe's shinsu blasts, and drills popping up from the floor below. Eventually, Vespa finds an opening to land the final blow on the FUG member, but Yuto is rescued at the last second by the arrival of Viole. In return, Shibisu assumes that they're finally face-to-face with Jyu Viole Grace.

    Season 2: Ch. 64 (Chapter 143)

Shibisu confronts Viole, who thinks to himself that the Slayer-Candidate looks nothing like the dreaded one heard from the rumors, but looks more like a past person he knew (referring to Bam). After Viole sees that Yuto's okay, he takes a piece of her clothing to cover his face from Shibisu to not be recognized. Shibisu then approaches the Slayer-Candidate, which Viole tries to convince him to end the fight given that Hatz and Anaak were already sent off to the Archimedes. However, Shibisu states to Viole that he's not here to play the game. That his aim is to defeat FUG, and capture Viole.

At that moment, Verdi's pet octopus pops up from the floor hole made by the drill during the earlier fight against Yuto. The octopus creates a shinsu ring, and then shoots it onto Viole's finger. Meanwhile under the FUG Team's dormitory, Wangnan informs Khun that Verdi's octopus just did something, which Khun figures that Team Shibisu is definitely pulling something against Bam. Continuing to run to where Wangnan is, Khun is seen being followed by a small alligator silhouette close behind. Khun then spots Horyang walking nearby.

Back over to Viole, he looks at the octopus-styled ring now attached to his pointer finger that can't be removed. Shibisu explains that it's a Raina Ring that can block Wave Controllers from using shinsu since the Slayer Candidate's now connected to the octopus. That it absorbs the shinsu if the ring user tries to cast out a shinsu attack. With Viole's shinsu usage blocked, Shibisu figures that all the Slayer-Canddiate can do now is attempt to fight physically. Aleksai then appears out of the floor hole for said physical fight, and engages Viole in close-combat, which Vespa enters the fight as well. The close-combat combination of Aleksai and Vespa are about to overpower Viole, which Vespa goes in for the final blow from behind thanks to Aleksai keeping Viole preoccupied from the front. However, Yuto jumps in to take Vespa's hit, which results in her getting poisoned by Vespa's weapon.

Viole gets taunted at by Vespa that Yuto will die if his FUG teammate doesn't get the honey cure in Vespa's possession. The Slayer-Candidate figures that he has no choice left, but to rely on the Thorn. Summoning the power of the thorn that appears as a large red shinsu beam in the form of a spike floating by his body, Viole slams Aleksai into the ground with a punch from his right first, and knocks Aleksai out cold, which shocks Shibisu and Vespa.

    Season 2: Ch. 65 (Chapter 144)

Following Aleksai's defeat, Viole relies on his thorn once more to defeat Vespa with ease by manging to grab hold of her, and slams her into the ground. With Aleksai and Vespa defeated, Shibisu is left confused that he never had any data on the Slayer-Candidate regarding the thron-like weapon Viole has in his possession. At this point, Shibisu is contacted by Verdi that she's been found by the FUG Team's Horyang. At this point, Viole states that the battle is over, and asks for Shibisu to give up, and turn away. Shibisu rejects Viole's statement since he's here for revenge against FUG rather than trying to reach the Workshop Battle. However, Viole offers him with a choice.

Viole asks for Shibisu to leave for the FUG Team their stolen bullets, the honey cure for Yuto, and for Shibisu's team to depart. However, should Shibisu stay, Viole threatens to shoot Aleksai with a dark bullet so that the Slayer-Candidate can go to the Workshop Battle on his own, which would leave Yuto to die. The result would be Shibisu's Team getting an eye-for-an-eye deal for the loss of Khun since he would leave Yuto to die as repayment. Shibisu refuses to let Viole have his way, and decides to go with the leave option. However, he asks for Viole to return Vespa to him as a trade for the honey. He also asks that the Slayer-Candidate shoot Aleksai with a light bullet to send him up as a trade for having Viole's shinsu blocking ring removed. Viole agrees to it, and Shibisu gives the order for his remaining teammates to fall back.

Verdi gets the fall-back order from Shibisu, but announces that she plans to take Miseng and Prince with her. Despite Wangnan appearing to try to stop her, she leaves through the ceiling on her octopus with the two captured teammates still in her possession. Following Verdi's departure, Wangnan's glad to see that Horyang's doing well, which the latter apologizes for not telling Team Sweet-and-Sour that he was leaving. However, Wangnan is forced to watch Horyang leave again since the latter's still part of Team FUG.

Back to Viole, the Slayer-Candidate and Shibisu keep their ends of the deal with Aleksai and Vespa being shot by light bullets to send them up to the Archimedes, and Viole's given the honey cure for Yuto. Shibisu then heads off, but not before claiming that next time will be different while stating how weird it is that a Slayer-Candidate cares for his teammates. With Shibisu gone, Viole applies the honey cure to Yuto, which they're then greeted by Nobic. He informs Viole that he accomplished the favor Viole whispered to him, which was to send Reflejo up to the Archimedes with a light bullet.

Having witnessed Viole's solo efforts to get their and Shibisu's Teams into Workshop, Nobic warns Viole that his attempts to do everything himself isn't healthy. However, Viole answers him that he's fine with taking all the pain, because he has nothing left to live for. Khun, revealed to have spied on their conversation, walks away saddened by what he heard Bam say. The alligator Regular following him, Rak, is seen watching Khun from the distance. Viole and Nobic then figure that it's about time for them to go up to Archimedes.

Following the battle against the FUG Team, Shibisu regroups with his remaining Sepia Island teammates, Verdi and Lauroe. As Shibisu thinks over how he under-estimated Viole, who turned out to be one of the strongest E-Ranks, Verdi shoots Prince and Miseng with light bullets to send her captives up to the Archimedes while Shibisu fires a light bullet at Lauroe to send him up. Verdi then shoots Shibisu with a light bullet to send him to the Archimedes, which she then fires a dark bullet at a Regular her octopus is holding captive in order to send herself up. Meanwhile, the remainder of Team FUG is cleaning up things. After Yuto was sent up, Nobic is seen shooting Sia with a light bullet to send her up to the Archimedes while Cassano fires light bullets at Viole and Nobic to send them up. Cassano then shoots a dark bullet at a Regular he captured to send himself up. Finally, Khun realizes that Rak's been tailing him, which results in Khun, Rak and Wangnan shooting each other to get sent up to the Archimedes. At this point, the remaining tickets are 0.

Meanwhile within the sewers around the D-52 room, Endorsi is seen exhausted after defeating the Workshop robot patrols that switched from pursuing Viole, and onto her. She spots Traveller making his escape nearby, and manages to catch him. Endorsi then orders him to tell her where his Slayer-Candidate friend went, but Traveller refuses, and states that the person she's talking about is named 25th Bam. Hearing Bam's name shocks Endorsi, which she asks him what he means by that. Nearby, the Bong Bong fairy that provides an extra Archimedes ticket if it's shot is seen floating behind Endorsi. Thus, implying that Endorsi was the one to shoot it to get sent off to the Archimedes.

Long Summary

The One Shot, One Opportunity Game

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_01.jpg
One Shot, One Opportunity

Io of Workshop begins his explanation to the E-rank Regulars as to how the One Shot, One Opportunity is going to be played out on the 30th Floor's Sepia Island. He reminds the Regulars that there will be 248 Archimedes tickets total, and that their primary goal will be to use the revolver handgun they've each been provided to shoot other Regulars. Io states that whoever gets shot with a light bullet will be provided a ticket, and get teleported up to the Archimedes.

However, each gun starts off with only one dark bullet, so he warns the Regulars to be patient, and wait for the right opportunity to fire. Io continues his explanation regarding how the Regulars will fight one another. The announcer states that Regulars must steal guns from one another, and take their single bullet for more ammunition.

Those have have their guns stolen will automatically fail from the game. Io also describes how the gun works in that it can hold up to six bullets between reloading, and has a manuel control on the revoler's left side that allows for the weapon to be set to dark or light. The light side can only be used once Regulars have successfully stolen other bullets. Io explains the light mode setting, which acts as the ticket function to send those shot by the bullet up to the Archimedes.

Dark bullet for the Blood Tamara, Light bullet for the White Heavenly Mirror

The announcer points out that the bullets that are stolen are the only ones that can send people up to the Archimedes. However, he reminds the Regulars that they can't use these light bullet on themselves. They must be shot at be someone else. Io then explains the dark mode setting that firing a dark bullet at someone will eliminate the person from the game.

However, Io warns the Regulars that they're only allowed to fire one bullet when their gun has the dark setting active, and should the bullet miss, the shooter will be automatically disqualified instead. Io brings up another component of the One Shot, One Opportunity game, which is that there will be two Workshop items up for grabs if they accomplish a specific task.

The first item is a Blood Tamara, which will be rewarded to the first Regular who succeeds to eliminate a Regular with a bullet using dark mode. The second item, the White Heavenly Mirror, will be rewarded to the Regular that sends the most people up to the Archimedes with bullets using light mode.

Io also adds that wandering around Sepia Island is a Bong Bong fairy that if someone shoots it with a light bullet, the shooter will automatically be given an Archimedes ticket, and provided with a special item. Io leaves off with a final warning that the guns they've been provided should only be used against the E-rank Regulars playing in the game.

Khun and company use the set-up minute to go over the rules of the game

Should they fail to follow this rule, the shooters will automatically fail the test. With the explanation over, Io states that the safety function on their guns will be removed a minute from now, and that once their guns are properly working, the One Shot, One Opportunity game will officially begin.

In Khun's dormitory, Dan looks down at his revolver, and admits that it doesn't sound that complicated of a game since the basics is just shooting other Regulars, and that additional bullets can be stolen from the other players. Khun thinks over the game mechanics as well, and deduces that attempting to use the one-time dark bullet is too much of a risk since missing the shot will cause himself to fail. He comes to the conclusion that, while it will still be a tough task, winning the White Heavenly Mirror by sending many people up to the Archimedes with light bullets is a possibility for him as long as succeeds in protecting his teammates.

Khun thinks back to the dark bullet function, and how it can eliminate whomever gets hit by it. He thinks back to Shibisu's interview where Khun was able to tell quite easily that Shibisu was lying about how he felt towards Viole, and deduces that this One Shot, One Opportunity game might end up being quite chaotic.

Start of the One Shot, One Opportunity Game

Khun's plan gets his team two early bullets at the start of the game

Khun's attention is then brought to his lighthouse camera where he spots a couple E-rank Regulars wielding their revolvers, and running through the dormitory hallways. He figures that his first objective should be to gather more bullets for himself (Khun can't take his teammates bullets since that would eliminate them). The minute countdown for the game to begin is about to end as Wangnan informs Khun that they should hurry to a good spot before their gun's safety is removed. However, Khun gets up stating that they don't need to, and points his gun directly in Wangnan's face. Wangnan is left confused by Khun's actions, which the latter answers that he will eliminate Wangnan from Workshop in order to win the Blood Tamara item. With the timer over, the safety on their revolvers come off as Khun bids Wangnan farewell. Outside their dorm, the two Regulars Khun spotted on his lighthouse react to Wangnan's scream.

Moments later, the two hallway Regulars are caught, and tied up, due to Khun's plan catching the two off-guard. Khun retrieves their two bullets, and congratulates Wangnan for providing him with such a natural sounding scream since he believed that Khun was going to shoot him. He points out to Wangnan and Dan that the plan was to confuse the two approaching Regulars to act hasty, and with poor judgement, trying to find out what just happened in this room.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_05.jpg
Goseng, Akraptor and Ehwa at the observatory, but no Miseng and Prince

Wangnan complains that he should have been let in on this plan from the start, which Khun just laughs it off with Dan since it's clear that Wangnan hasn't gotten use to how Khun does things just yet. Khun points out that the scream had to be realistic, which causes Wangnan to complain further that he will one day have a heart attack if he continues to stay on the same team as Khun. At this point, Khun is contacted on his lighthouse by Goseng.

Through her lighthouse, Goseng informs them that her, Ehwa and Akraptor were currently at the Sepia Island observatory when the game began, but have lost contact with Miseng and Prince, which shocks Wangnan. Wangnan complains over the lighthouse as to why they're all still not together, which Goseng answers that it was because Miseng and Prince claimed that they were afraid of heights. Thinking the situation over, Khun states that their team should take this chance to do something crazy in the game.

At another location on Sepia Island, Shibisu's group of himself, Hatz, Anaak, and the sleeping Lauroe, are currently on the move. They look to their Pocket at the stat for the remaining tickets, which Shibisu finds surprising that the number of tickets is going down incredibly fast.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_06.jpg
Starting far away, Team Shibisu make their way to the game battlefield

Hatz answers that the most likely cause of the tickets dropping at a fast early rate is because people are wasting bullets firing at their teammates to try to win the Blood Tamara item, which Shibisu agrees to be the case since One Shot, One Opportinity isn't technically a team game. Hatz points out that this game was designed perfectly to betray teammates once it started, but also concludes that this is a test to see who has the true teams for Workshop.

Continuing to run, Shibisu complains as to why they chose a dormitory so far away from the main city. Anaak points out that it's because it had the best view of the ocean, but Shibisu complains even further that they weren't here to be on vacation. Hatz asks about their remaining teammates that were spread out when the game started, which Shibisu answers that he sent one of their two new recruits, Vespa, ahead to catch up to them. However, Shibisu adds that the one he's most worried about is Endorsi since they've never been able to properly get her to listen ever sine Bam died, which Shibisu notes that he doesn't really blame her for thinking that way.

Suddenly, their movements are stopped when Endorsi appears right in front of them. Holding a brown rope, Endorsi greets her team, which leaves Shibisu confused as to why she has a rope with her. Pulling on the rope, she informs Shibisu that it's because she gathered up some bullets for the team; revealing four tied up Regulars to Shibisu.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_07.jpg
Endorsi having already defeated four Regulars, providing her team four bullets

Shibisu questions how she was already able to capture four other E-rank Regulars, which she explains that they were nearby trying to take pictures of her for an Information Paparazzi. One of the captured Regulars denies it trying to explain that they're honest journalists, but Endorsi continues to beat them up claiming that she saw them trying to take a picture of her in her underwear, and orders them to give up their game bullets. Shibisu is left wondering how it would be great to see a picture of Endorsi in her underwear while Hatz wonders why they would choose to take those kind of pictures.

Moments later, Shibisu is given the four stolen bullets, and informs the group that they now already have at least four Archimedes tickets. One of the Paparazzi Regulars complains of their dirty interview statements claiming that they will defeat Viole for everyone, and yet here they are stealing bullets from good people. Pointing out that FUG's hotel was just down the nearby hill, the defeated Regular warns Shibisu's Team that he will be sure to reveal this treachary to the news. The Paparazzi Regular claims that he's now on the side of Viole, and hopes that FUG will come out victorious, which grabs the attention of everyone on Team Shibisu. Endorsi moves toward them ready to continue beating him up, but is instead stepped on by Hatz, who orders the defeated Regular to tell him where FUG is.

Shibisu announces to the group that they're going to attack the FUG Team

The Regular answers that FUG rented out the whole floor of a hotel known as Silver Blue just down the nearby hill. Team Shibisu ask if his information is legit, which he states it is since they're part of the Information Paparazzi. Having heard where FUG's located, Hatz asks what Shibisu plans to do. He looks to his pocket seeing the Archimedes tickets continue to decrease, and then looks at the bullets in his hand to remind himself that they've already acquired at least four bullets for the eight Regulars in their team. Shibisu deduces that they're in a position to spare a bit of time to go on a side-journey, and puts the game off for the time being. He announces to the group that they will use this chance to kill the FUG team, and asks for them to get in place for him to start providing orders. Stating that it's time to hunt FUG, Shibisu thinks to himself that he just couldn't help passing up this chance.

Endorsi stands by watching Shibisu make his announcement, and is then asked by the Information Paparazzi Regular if his acting was perfect, which she admits that it was. She then asks if his information is legit, which the Regular answers that he definitely witnessed Viole leaving from the FUG's dormitory by himself. The Regular is left wondering if Endorsi will reward him with the photo she promised him, but is left stunned upon realizing that Endorsi is now completely ignoring him. Endorsi pulls out her Emile terminal, and is informed by Emile that Viole is currently at D-52. She states to herself that she will let Shibisu and company deal with FUG while she goes after the main dish.

Meanwhile in FUG's dormitory, Reflejo is left annoyed at the team upon hearing that Viole is currently not with them. He asks why Sia didn't keep an eye on the FUG Slayer, which she answers that it's because Viole didn't like her spying on him. Reflejo yells at her for the poor excuse, and asks what she's going to do about this since they don't have any way to contact Viole.

Shibisu announces that they will attack FUG when only 100 game tickets remain

At this point, Ran interrupts, and points out how the ticket numbers keep decreasing. He tells Reflejo that what they should be doing now is find Viole before the game is over, which leaves Reflejo silent. The second FUG teammate, revealed to be named Yuto, grabs their attention to inform them that they got a visitor. Reflejo asks what the problem is, which Yuto answers that there's a Regular staring down at them from a nearby observatory. Yuto also points out that it isn't just any Regular, but is the Fake Jahad Princess, Anaak.

Anaak remains on top of the observatory as Shibisu and Hatz are on another rooftop watching her. Hatz asks why they're not going in yet, which Shibisu points out that while it's clear FUG already noticed her, it's still not enough just showing the Fake Jahad Princess in front of them to make FUG move.

He reminds Hatz that they have the four stolen bullets to fall back on, and that just waiting outside FUG's dormitory to show that the team is watching them is going to be enough to make FUG nervous. He orders for Hatz to continue waiting, and states that more of the team needs to arrive here while possibly gathering more bullets during the waiting period.

Hatz remains silent in agreement as Shibisu is left annoyed wondering where Endorsi went. Shibisu looks towards his Pocket, which has the current ticket count stat at 165 remaining. Hatz asks when they should head out to begin stealing the remaining bullets their team needs, which Shibisu answers that they will have enough time afterwards if they go when the count gets below 100 remaining tickets.

Team FUG prepares for Team Shibisu's attack while waiting for Viole's return

In FUG's dorm, Yuto looks back towards Anaak, and informs the rest of the FUG Team that the Fake Princess still hasn't performed any new actions just yet. She deduces that Anaak is just hanging out before FUG to pressure them until they finally decide to attack. Reflejo thinks this over, and is irritated that they're in no position to fight Anaak's group currently. Reflejo deduces that a worst case scenario should be thought up since they could run out of time before ever stealing any bullets, but Reflejo has his thoughts interrupted when Ran asks what they should do.

Reflejo decides that their best option currently would be to wait it out for Viole to return. Ran counters that there's a higher chance of them failing if they stay at this dormitory, but Reflejo replies that it would be harder to reunite with Viole if they don't stay to the location that Viole knows where they are. Ran next asks what they will do if Viole doesn't come back, which Reflejo answers that they will have to fight through Anaak the moment the tickets drop below 100. Looking back at their Pocket, the ticket count is now at 163 remaining.

Switching over to Viole at the D-52 location, the FUG Slayer has finally finished setting up the Workshop patrol trap for Traveller, who's left amazed at how good Viole turned out to be at this. Traveller finally decides to introduce himself to Viole, which the FUG Slayer, choosing not to reveal his Slayer Candidate name, replies that he can be called Twenty-Fifth Bam.

    Endorsi's Hunt

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_11.jpg
Traveller explains to Bam that he's trying to save the one he loves from Workshop

The orange-haired Regular asks if Viole has anything to ask him, which the FUG Slayer answers that he would like to know why the Workshop patrols have been chasing after him. Traveller answers that it's because he attempted to sneak into the Archimedes, which confuses Viole. The orange-haired Regular explains that he's fallen in love with someone that's been locked up on the Archimedes, and that he's made it his mission to save her before the Workshop Battle is over. He tells Viole that the winning prize of the Workshop Battle will be a human, which confuses Viole even further.

At this point, Viole and Traveller are interrupted when the Workshop patrols begin cutting through the door to the D-52 room they're currently in. Surprised that the Workshop patrols have already found them, Traveller urges Viole to get behind him as he plans to blow up the trap that the FUG Slayer had spent the time setting up. The moment the Workshop patrol breaks in, Traveller sets the bomb off, which explodes upon the robot. However, to Viole and Traveller's surprise, they witness the Workshop patrol protect itself from the explosion by putting up a massive shield.

Despite their impending doom, Traveller spends the next moments in awe at the patrol robot having a powerful shield made of shinsu. Viole tries to snap him out of it that now's not the time to be impressed by what the enemy can pull off. Traveller turns around to run claiming that this is a fight they can't win. However, Viole pushes forward ready to combat the patrol robot with his wave controller abilities.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_12.jpg
Endorsi sneaks away from Team Shibisu to take on Viole by herself

Traveller calls back to the FUG Slayer wondering what he's doing, but Viole deduces in his head that there's perhaps an opening to counter the moment the patrol robot attacks. However, before Viole could reach the Workshop patrol, Endorsi drops through the ceiling above them.

Viole and Traveller look up in surprise at the arrival of the Jahad Princess as Viole is left stunned seeing one of his friends from the Floor of Tests. Seeing the Workshop patrol behind her, Endorsi sends a powerful kick as it as Viole and Traveller dodge out of the way of the now flying Workshop patrol. The robot smashes into a wall in the room as Endorsi pulls out her game revolver, and aims it at Viole. Looking down at Viole, and gives her greeting to the Slayer Candidate.

Running through the Sepia Island city, Wangnan asks Khun if he's currently going the right way. Khun asks for Wangnan to trust him a bit more, but Wangnan claims that he's the last person that deserves his trust given the stunt Khun pulled on him back at their dormitory. Khun reminds him that not trusting his judgement will result in the rest of Team Tansooyook dying, which irritates Wangnan as he's seen continuing to run through the city.

Back to D-52, Traveller remains on the side in shock upon hearing Endorsi call the person he's been with this entire time as FUG's Slayer Candidate, Viole. Still holding her revolver at Viole's head, Endorsi points out that she heard rumors about the FUG Slayer having a sinister look, but is surprised to see that his current look is incredibly ordinary.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_13.jpg
Viole performs the immobilization Bang to get away from Endorsi

Endorsi asks if he's truly the FUG Slayer known as Jue Viole Grace, but thinks to herself that he somehow seems familiar. At this point, a glowing blue orb comes floating down from the ceiling hold that Endorsi dropped in from, and is revealed to be one of the game's revolvers. Seeing Endorsi distracted by the sudden appearance of a new revolver, Viole manages to perform an immobilization Bang on Endorsi, and attempts to land a kick on her. In return, Endorsi counters with a kick of her own that knocks Viole back. However, she realizes that she messed up as Viole lands next to the revolver that just dropped in from the ceiling hole.

Aiming to run away, Viole picks up the revolver on the ground, and asks if Traveller has any extra bombs. Traveller answers that he does, which Viole orders him to throw them quickly. Traveller tries to reject it claiming that he needs them for the Workshop tanks, but Viole answers that the one they're fighting against is definitely a tank. Endorsi charges at the two of them, but is stalled upon seeing a variety of bombs thrown in her direction. Despite not injuring her, Endorsi gets caught up in the massive explosion unable to see Viole and Traveller. After the smoke subsides, Endorsi sees that the two of them managed to get out of the D-52 room.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_14.jpg
Traveller figures it's about time to part ways from Bam

Becoming annoyed after hearing Viole compare her to a tank, Endorsi pulls out her Emile terminal to find the FUG Slayer's location again. She also thinks back to the immobilization Bang that was performed on her, and is saddened to remember that it reminds her of Bam. As Endorsi becomes more irritated thinking about a person she believes to be dead, an ominous person within the darkness appears behind her.

In a dark hallway far from the D-52 room, Viole and Traveller take a brief moment to catch their breath in one of the sewer tunnels. Traveller admits to being amazed that he got to experience seeing Princess Endorsi with his own eyes, and asks Viole if she's still following them. Before Viole could answer, Traveller points out how Endorsi must have made a mistake since she called the nice Bam as FUG's Slayer Candidate.

Traveller gets up, and figures that the Workshop patrols have let them go since something major seems to be going on above them. He tells Viole that this should be the point they go their own ways, which the FUG Slayer agrees with. Watching Traveller run down the sewer tunnel, he leaves off saying that he hopes to see Bam again aboard the Archimedes.

    Team Wangnan vs. Team Blarode

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_15.jpg
Viole realizes he's in the One Shot, One Opportunity game

Confused about the revolver in his possession, Bam puts it against his Pocket to find out what it is. On his Pocket, Viole sees the game One Shot, One Opportunity written out, as well as the option to check for the rules. Viole thinks back to how Traveller told him about the prize of the Workshop Battle being a human, and realizes that something major is currently going on. He deduces that he needs to get back to his FUG Team as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, Blarode and Quaetro, revealed to have made it in time for the 30th Floor's Workshop Battle, are seen participating in the One Shot, One Opportunity game having defeated a number of Regulars in their current room. Having burned his opponents, Quaetro remains excited about the game, and asks Blarode who should be their next opponent, but the latter answers that there's no need to rush. Blarode then looks at the observatory in the distance, and sees Goseng peaking her head out of it. He states to Quaetro that it's perhaps time to gain a higher ground. Within the Sepia Island observatory Goseng and Ehwa remain waiting it out as Akraptor returns to them to inform his teammates that the fighting below them has finally calmed down.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_16.jpg
Blarode attacks Sweet and Sour at the Sepia Island observatory

Akraptor asks for Goseng and Ehwa to follow him, which they agree to do so, but are surprised to see Blarode appearing at the entrance of their observatory room. Blarode asks if the members of Sweet and Sour missed him, who charges in before they could aim their revolvers. Blarode is able to bypass Akraptor's defenses, and places his revolver against the latter's foot.

Akraptor remains still realizing that he was easily defeated as Blarode points out that all he has to do is shoot a piece of the body to eliminate someone from the game. However, they all hear a new voice from the observatory entrance repeating those exact words. Blarode turns around, and sees Quaetro with his hands up in surrender; being threatened with a revolver from behind from Wangnan.

Wangnan threatens Blarode to back down, or else he will lose a valuable ally for the Workshop Battle, which surprises Goseng that they managed to get here. Khun and Dan are the next to appear behind Wangnan, to which he answers that they got her simply by running. He explains to the group that he deduced that the E-rank Regulars are either all cowards, or ended up betraying one another trying to win the Blood Tamara, and took a gamble that no one would actually shoot at them running through the streets. Khun gives his greeting to Blarode, who remains surprised to see that the former is alive since everyone believes that Khun died at the Hand of Arlene. Blarode asks how he ended up a part of Sweet and Sour, which Khun answers that it's a bit of a long story, and states that what they need to do is come up with a compromise.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_17.jpg
Khun makes a deal to send Blarode and Quaetro up to Workshop for their bullets

Blarode remains confused by Khun's statement, which Khun explains that if the Blarode and Quaetro hand over all their bullets, he will use two light bullets to send the two of them up to the Archimedes. Given their current state, Khun informs Blarode and Quaetro that this is too good an offer to pass up without anyone getting hurt. Blarode asks if Khun is threatening him despite the latter knowing how strong the former is. Khun replies that he knows full-well, but reminds Blarode that he should also know that Blarode can't win a fight against him. Khun taunts him that asking his damaged right eye will be more than enough to tell him if he can win or not, which irritates Blarode.

Moments later, Blarode and Quaetro are seen being shot by Khun's light bullets as they're both sent up to the Archimedes. Goseng states that their next objective should be to search for Miseng and Prince, but Khun orders the group not to, which shocks Goseng. He explains that there's no point going after two people they lost contact with, and states that they should only worry about being invited up to the Archimedes. Goseng counters by saying they could be in trouble, but Khun informs her that there needs to come a time for people to handle issues themselves, and states that they're not cut out for the Workshop Battle if they can't even escape the One Shot, One Opportunity game.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_18.jpg
Khun sends Goseng, Akraptor, and Ehwa, up to Workshop

Khun points out that there's no point in teamwork if people are needlessly putting one another in danger, which leaves Goseng unable to say anything more. He asks for Goseng to trust that Miseng and Prince can handle it themselves, and reminds them that for now, going up to the Archimedes comes first.

Thinking it over, Akraptor agrees with Khun since they need to establish that at least some of the team makes it through, which shocks Goseng. Akraptor orders for Khun to shoot him, which Khun congrulates him for making a wise choice. Khun states that he will soon see them later on the ship as Akraptor, Ehwa and Goseng are shot by Khun's light bullets to get invited up to the Archimedes.

At another location on Sepia Island, one of Shibisu's two new recruits, Verdi, is seen having defeated a large group of Regulars through commanding a giant octopus. Being held in one of the octopus' tenticles, Prince and Miseng are shown to have been defeated. Aleksai, and Shibisu's second new recruit, Vespa, are then seen arriving at Verdi's location.

Seeing the defeated E-rank Regulars all around them, Vespa figures that Verdi must have acquired a large amount of bullets. Vespa then looks up at the two Regulars being held in the octopus tenticle, and asks about them, which Verdi answers that she took a liking to them, and wants to make them her dolls.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_19.jpg
Verdi of Shibisu's Team having captured Miseng and Prince

Verdi looks at the defeated Miseng and Prince, and points out how they're cute enough to have a wedding for, which annoys Vespa having to witness her teammate's weird doll holly once more. Aleksai states that they should get going since Princess Endorsi will get angry if they're late, which Verdi agrees to as the three, and the octopus carrying Miseng and Prince, head off to Shibisu's location.

Back over to Shibisu, he looks to the amount of remaining tickets on his Pocket, and sees that only 104 are remaining. He gets word from Vespa and Aleksai that they've found Verdi, and are now at their assigned spot to attack FUG, which Shibisu congratulates them for. Seeing the Pocket just now drop to 103 tickets, Shibisu informs them that it's almost time to attack FUG. Shibisu orders for everyone to prepare themselves as they're about to make a dash towards FUG's dormitory.

Within FUG's dormitory, Yuto informs Reflejo that the enemy outside has started to move. Shibisu reminds the team that their first goal is to eliminate the members of Team FUG, and that their primary goal is to capture the FUG Slayer, Viole, alive. The tickets drop to 100 as Shibisu states to his team that it's time to show who the rulers of the E-rank Regulars truly are.

    Team Shibisu vs. Team FUG

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_20.jpg
Team Shibisu begin their attack as Anaak charges into the FUG Team's dormitory

He orders for Anaak to fire as she throws a massive spear at the window of FUG's dormitory. Anaak enters through the dormitory whole she just created, but is greeted by Ran, who informs her that she's quite a noisy one. Anaak and Ran stare at one another ready to fight.

At the dormitory entrance, Cassano is alerted by Anaak smashing into the dormitory, but before the Devil of the Right Arm could react, he's greeted by an attack from Hatz. Walking towards Cassano, the sword-user states that he finds it surprising to see the foe who defeated him previously to be here. Hatz prepares his swords ready for the rematch.

From her lighthouse, Sia sends out information on the current situation to the rest of the FUG Team. She informs them of Anaak's appearance smashing through the second floor window using a sail board spear that increased her speed, and of the enemy swordsman that has appeared at Cassano's location covering the left building exit.

Sia states that while there's definitely movements of other enemies going on around them, she still hasn't determined their exact locations yet. One of the teammates asks if there's been any contact from Viole yet, but Sia answers that there hasn't, and that they should continue to stay at their location until they hear from him. At this point, Sia finally hears Viole trying to contact her.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_21.jpg
Viole stealing bullets from Regulars on the way back to his FUG Team

Sia asks why it took so long for Viole to regain contact with them, which the FUG Slayer apologizes for and states that he's currently running through the streets trying to make it back to their dormitory. Sia informs him of their dormitory currently being attacked by an enemy team, which confuses Viole as to who in their right mind amongst the E-rank Regulars would have the will to outright attack the FUG Team. Sia answers him that it's Anaak and her teammates, which shocks Viole knowing that it's Shibisu's Team.

Suddenly, Viole is met by a group of Regulars, who taunts the FUG Slayer for being idiotic passing through their territory alone. However, the FUG Slayer easily defeats them, and steals away their bullets. Continuing to hurry back, Viole thinks to himself that it was completely unexpected to hear that Shibisu's Team would have it in them to attack the FUG Team.

Back to the FUG dormitory, Anaak continues to stand opposite Ran. The latter of which orders the former to go back since this is a meaningless battle if they've come here to get revenge for Khun's death. However, Anaak refuses to move, which Ran figures that the Fake Princess might be here for an entirely different reason.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_22.jpg
Nobic underestimates the Fake Princess

Anaak attempts to land an attack on him, which forces Ran to jump back to where he's greeted by Nobic. Nobic asks if her attacking means that Ran failed to settle this with words, which Ran answers that Anaak seems to be someone that doesn't understand the human language.

Seeing Anaak charge towards the two of them, Nobic points out that she seems to be someone that was definitely capable of understanding words, and thinks to himself that it was foolish to let Ran try to communicate with her. Nobic manages to block Anaak's incoming kick, but Ran, who had dodged out of the way, warns Nobic that he's going to regret choosing to block. Nobic is left in shock as a massive explosion takes place.

At the dormitory entrance, Hatz continues to stand opposite Cassano. The former of which questions why the Devil of the Right Arm is now a part of FUG. Not wanting to answer, Cassano quickly draws out his revolver, which shocks Hatz as to how quick it was, and is able to strike the gun out of the Devil of the Right Arm's hand.

Hatz asks what Cassano is trying to pull, and states that it's not a gun fight that he desires from him. The swordsman sends a couple swings at the Devil of the Right Arm, but Cassano easily dodges them by turning his wing into a speed boot.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_23.jpg
Shibisu tells his teammate, Vespa, the story of Hatz's previous loss to Cassano

Cassano asks for Hatz to give up if what the swordsman's truly looking for is a real fight. He reminds Hatz of their last fight that swords were proven to be useless against him, because he's a Living Ignition Weapon that is stronger than any sword. He claims that at as a predator, he's the sword-using Hatz's worst nightmare.

Nearby, Shibisu is seen running with Vespa, the former of which gets word that Hatz has surprisingly run into Cassano, now as a part of FUG. Shibisu admits that it was unexpected of him to learn that the Devil of the Right Arm has joined FUG, which Vespa asks if Hatz will be able to handle it. Vespa points out that she heard the rumor of how Hatz lost to Cassano, which Shibisu answers that it's true, and that it was a bad loss.

Shibisu reveals that they met Cassano during their 20th Floor test, and that despite their team being the overall winners against Cassano's group, Hatz was embarrassed by the Devil of the Right Arm since his swords couldn't land even a scratch on him. He adds that the loss must have been a shock for Hatz since up until that point, their team had reached the 20th Floor getting victories left-and-right. Having heard Hatz's story, Vespa asks if things will be different this time around, but Shibisu informs her that Hatz hasn't come up with anything new since his loss to Cassano.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_24.jpg
Rematch: Hatz vs. Cassano

However, Shibisu tells her that he doesn't believe Hatz will lose this time. He states that he's always seen Hatz train hard, and figures that those who train hard will always get their revenge.

Back to Hatz and Cassano, the sworduser asks that the Devil of the Right Arm look to his devil arm before deciding to get cocky against him. To Cassano's surprise, he sees that his devil arm actually has a few scratches on it from Hatz's sword. Hatz taunts the Devil of the Right Arm that the food-chain is about to change as Cassano is left confused as to how this was possible.

Hatz charges forward with another strike from his sword. This time around, a massive gash is made in Cassano's devil arm, which shocks the Devil of the Right Arm. Cassano jumps back to get away from Hatz's sword, and then tries to make sense of why the swordsman is now able to damage him compared to last time. Seeing Cassano confused, Hatz reveals that there's nothing new going on, which confuses Cassano even further.

Preparing his sword once more, Hatz states that all he's done since their 20th Floor fight is train twice as hard. Cassano remains confused as to how training harder answers his ability to now damage him as Hatz charges forward once more. Knowing that he's in trouble, Cassano resolves to use his strongest attack to end this quickly.

Releasing his devil arm, Cassano sends out a massive explosion in Hatz's direction, but is shocked to see Hatz dodge it, and is forced to deflect Hatz's sword with his non-devil arm; causing him to bleed out further. Hatz points out that after his previous loss to Cassano, he spent his training sharpening his blade over and over to become stronger. He thanks Cassano for the previous defeat to force him to train even harder as Hatz lands a major blow across the Devil of the Right Arm's chest using the Single Annihilation sword-technique.

Ran creates a thundercloud against Anaak after Nobic's been knocked out

Back to Anaak's fight with Nobic and Ran, Nobic remains disoriented after being kicked across the room, and into the wall by Anaak. Ran looks back at Nobic claiming that he's an idiot for trying to block someone that has Jahad's Blood within her. Despite confirming that she has just half of Jahad's usual Princess strenge due to being a fake, he still finds this to be an annoying fight. Grabbing an object in his pocket, Ran wonders if this is an appropriate time to use it. Anaak continues to stand before Ran, and notices a small thunder cloud made of shinsu forming next to him.

Cassano falls to his knees after taking Hatz's Single Annihilation attack. Hatz orders for the Devil of the Right Arm to answer why he joined FUG, and points out how there's nothing left for him to gain at the Workshop Battle since he's already a powerful Living Ignition Weapon. Thinking it over, Cassano explains that he envies a normal sword since it can get stronger depending on its owner, which confuses Hatz.

At this point, both of them are distracted by an explosion in the distance, but Cassano uses this opportunity to try to strike Hatz with his devil arm once more. To Hatz's surprise, Cassano manages to shatter his sword. The Devil of the Right Arm leaves off saying that they will meet again at Workshop as a gun-fire sound is heard in the background resulting in Hatz being sent up to Workshop.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_26.jpg
Ran using his thunderclouds as a smokescreen against Anaak

Anaak continues to stand before Ran, who remains confused at the sight of the thunder cloud that's slowly beginning to surround Ran. The thunder cloud then spreads out to cover the area all around her, which annoys Anaak thinking to herself that a simple smokescreen isn't going to block her sight. Seeing an electric spark amongst the clouds, Anaak yells out that she found Ran, and throws her spear in the direction of the spark, but Ran appears behind her claiming that she guessed wrong.

Ran duels Anaak in close-combat, which begins to get on the Fake Princess' nerve. During the duel, Ran suddenly disappears from sight, and appears again behind Anaak. This time around, she tries to swipe him with her tail, but he backs off into the thunder cloud smokescreen once more. Ran then sends a couple lightning bolts to keep her at a distance, and then powers up his Maschenny Style: Espada Grande spear, which he then throws in Anaak's direction.

Anaak barely gets out of the way of Ran's lightning spear in time, and manages to back away to a spot outside Ran's thunder clouds. Looking at her giant spear, she remains confused as to why it has blood on it given that she doesn't believe that she hit Ran at any time. In the background, Nobic is seen holding his bleeding arm annoyed that he randomly got hit. Looking at the thunder cloud smokescreen before her, Anaak figures that this was Ran's plan from the start to make sure that she doesn't have the proper sight to use her giant spear.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_27.jpg
Anaak vs. Ran

Seeing that Ran also happens to have matching blue hair and eyes, Anaak becomes a tad annoyed that Ran reminds her of the Khun guy that gives everyone problems. Revealed to be able to handle four Bangs at once, Anaak admits that Ran is an annoying one, and figures that her best option would be to just blow everything up.

Anaak fires her four Bangs all around her, and manages to finally blow away Ran's thunder clouds. What's left is a small cloud ball before her that Anaak believes to be Ran's left attempt to try to defend against her. Anaak throws her giant spear at the cloud ball, but Ran appears from the window, and taunts her that she thought wrong yet again.

Anaak is left confused if this was what Ran was planning from the start as Ran prepares to fire a dark bullet to eliminate the Fake Princess from the game. However, Ran underestimates Anaak's ability to use shinsu body strengthing, and manages to get above Ran after she had applied shinsu to her feet to jump.

Ran and Anaak aim their revolvers at one another ready to fire dark bullets, but are ordered to stop by a nearby person. Anaak and Ran look in the direction of the voice, and are surprised to see Viole before them aiming his revolver towards them. Anaak begins saying that she will surely kill the FUG Slayer, but before she could finish, Viole fires two light bullets in their direction to send them up to Workshop.

Wangnan finds the location where Verdi took Miseng and Prince

Beneath FUG's dormitory, Verdi is seen with her octopus, and has placed Prince and Miseng on a rock before it. Picking up nearby flowers, Verdi puts flower headpieces on their heads, and blushes that the two of them now look incredibly cute. Behind a nearby wall, Wangnan is seen peaking into the room; having found his two missing teammates. Pulling out a camera, Verdi begins to take pictures of the unconscious Miseng and Prince as Wangnan's able to confirm that the reason they lost contact with their two teammates is because this weird girl captured them. Hiding behind a wall, Wangnan asks Khun how he should deal with this given that there's a giant octopus also in the room.

However, Khun replies that Wangnan has to do this himself since it was he who insisted on doing this. Khun reminds him that he was against looking for Miseng and Prince from the start, and is irritated that he was forced to change his mind after seeing Wangnan throw a fit at the observatory claiming that he was going to kill himself if they didn't save his two teammates. Khun states that he did his part finding Miseng and Prince, and now it's Wangnan's job to save them, which brings Wangnan's spirit down knowing he has to do this alone. He then informs Wangnan that there will come a time where Wangnan won't be able to save everyone, and that he needs to accept this before reality hits him.

Khun hurries to Wangnan's location as a pair of red eyes is seen following him

Wangnan replies that there's no point going up the Tower if everyone isn't allowed to make it, which Khun thinks to himself that he now understands why Bam would help such a stupid person given that Bam is also a period person that follows a similar philosophy.

From his lighthouse, Khun looks toward Verdi's location, and admits that he finds it confusing as to why she's taking pictures of Miseng and Prince. At the very least, he could tell that Verdi isn't hurting them, which Wangnan asks if Khun perhaps knows this Verdi person. Khun admits that she seems familiar, and looks up information on Verdi on his lighthouse. However, Khun is left shocked upon reading that Verdi is the doll-maker from Shibisu's Team.

Khun orders for Wangnan to not go near Verdi, which confuses Wangnan. Starting to move, Khun explains that Verdi is a dangerous foe, and that if Wangnan goes up against her, he will definitely die. Khun starts to run, and is left irritated that he had to encounter Verdi during this game. From a dark corridor behind Khun, a pair of red eyes is seen looking in Khun's direction.

FUG Team member, Yuto, meets the intruders, Shibisu and Vespa

After sending Anaak and Ran up to the Archimedes, Viole gives off a sigh of relief. An injured Nobic gets up saying a metaphor that the fish will do the fight, but it's the fisherman that will catch them as Viole finally notices that Nobic was also here. Viole runs up to him asking if he's ok, which Nobic says he is. Nobic scolds Viole for his being MIA putting the FUG Team in a horrible situation, which Viole apologizes for.

Dropping it since Viole is now back with them, Nobic asks why he shot Anaak with the light bullet since he could have easily eliminated her with a dark bullet, but before Viole could answer, Sia warns them from her lighthouse that two new enemies have appeared on the floor below them. Sia explains that these two newly arrived enemies used some sort of digging buster to make an underground tunnel, and then made a hole through the dormitory's floor.

Showing Shibisu and Vespa, Sia identifies the two enemies as a scout, and an unknown person, that are soon going to be arriving at the main stairs of the dormitory. Awaiting at the main staircase for Shibisu and Vespa's arrival is FUG teammate, Yuto.

Nobic points out that neither of the two enemies sound like Endorsi Jahad, and claims that they could probably defeat the two new enemies if they attack them all at once. Viole orders him now to do it, but Sia complains that they won't get another chance like this since neither Endorsi or Anaak are here to protect them. However, Viole orders them not to go once more since he figures that if the person leading this team they're fighting is the person he thinks it is (referring to Shibisu), then they will surely have more to this plan of theirs. Nobic remains confused about Viole talking as if he knows who the enemy is they're fighting, which Viole then asks him for a favor.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_31.jpg
Viole whispers Nobic a task as the FUG Slayer heads off to help Yuto alone

Viole asks for Nobic to get close to him, and then whispers an order to him that only he would be able to hear. Seeing Viole walk away, Nobic asks if the FUG Slayer will require support, but Viole states that he will go by himself, and asks for Nobic to search for the others in the dormitory.

Sia overhears Viole going alone asking if he's really going to do it, which Viole answers once more that he is. He reminds Nobic to do what he asked, which Nobic agrees to; leaving Sia unable to say anything else.

At the dormitory staircase, Yuto squares off with Vespa in close-combat. Attempting to hit Vespa with her giant staff, Yuto is also forced to dodge out of the way of the shinsu beams fired from the tiny swarm objects floating around Vespa. Moments later, a blast of shinsu blasts through the nearby all as Yuto manages to dodge out of the way in time.

Looking towards the newly created hole that the shinsu blast came from, Yuto realizes that there's an enemy wave controller somewhere in the dormitory. Vespa is left annoyed that Yuto stopped looking in her direction during their fight as she quickly flies over to suddenly appear behind Yuto. The FUG teammate manages to dodge out of the way of Vespa's next attempt to strike, but Yuto is forced to dodge more incoming wave controller blasts trying to hit her from behind the wall.

Viole saves Yuto from being overwhelmed by Shibisu, Vespa, and Lauroe

Behind the wall, Shibisu stands with two floating objects commanding Lauroe to fire his shinsu beams at the exact locations he provides to him. The close-combat fight between Vespa and Yuto continues as Shibisu orders for a buster digger to appear out of the ground at Yuto's location. Yuto manages to dodge out of the way of the digger as Shibisu goes over the plan to himself that he's using Vespa to keep the FUG member preoccupied while they continue to strike at Yuto from unseen locations. Eventually, it will get to the point where Vespa will be able to finish Yuto off. Finally seeing the opening, Vespa goes in for the finishing blow, but just barely misses the attack due to Viole grabbing hold of Yuto at the last second, and dodging out of the way. Vespa and Shibisu remain in place as they both realize that the FUG Slayer, Jue Viole Grace, has appeared before them.

Upon closer inspection of the FUG Slayer, Shibisu thinks to himself that it's surprising to confirm that the rumors were true about the Slayer Candidate looking like a normal boy rather than a sinister monster. Believing that he is indeed the FUG Slayer, Shibisu also thinks that Viole looks a bit familiar, but can't fully grasp where he's seen him from. Putting Yuto down, the FUG member apologizes for her poor effort, but Viole states that it's ok, and instead asks to borrow a bit of clothing. To Yuto's surprise, Viole rips a piece of cloth off the FUG teammate's robe, which causes Yuto to blush.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_33.jpg
Verdi's pet octopus forcing a Raina ring onto Viole to block his shinsu usage

Placing the cloth over his mouth, Viole then turns towards Shibisu. The latter of which announces that he knows he's the FUG Slayer given Viole's long pony tail, and having the look of a boy with a face mostly covered by his hair-bangs.

Shibisu stands opposite Viole, which the former states to the latter that he's wanted to see the FUG Slayer for a long time. Viole warns Shibisu that his team should pull back from the FUG dormitory given the injures, and states that it won't be good for either of them if they continue to fight here. However, Shibisu replies that the Workshop Battle means nothing to him, and is only here to beat the FUG Slayer, and catch him. At this point, Verdi's octopus pops out of the hole Shibisu and Vespa came up from, and shoots a ring towards Viole. The FUG Slayer is left in confusion and shock seeing the ring get stuck on his left pointer finger. Meanwhile, Wangnan continues to watch Verdi from behind a wall, and is left confused at what her octopus just did.

Khun continues to run as Wangnan informs him over the lighthouse that Verdi's octopus just did something weird since the creature is now giving off an incredible shine. Khun is left annoyed realizing that Shibisu's Team is planning to do something to Bam, and announces to Wangnan that they primary objective now is to kill Verdi's octopus. Wangnan asks how, which Khun answers that the octopus weakness is within its horn. At this point, Khun is forced to stop running to Wangnan's location as he's greeted by Horyang. Behind Khun, a silhouette of what looks like a small alligator is also seen trying to keep up with him.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_34.jpg
Aleksai arrives to take on Viole in a physical match

Back to the FUG dormitory, Viole looks down at the red ring that's been forced upon his finger. Shibisu explains that it's called a Raina ring, which is an object that can block a wave controller's ability to use shinsu. He points out that they have an octopus hidden underground that's connected to the ring, and should Viole attempt to use any shinsu Bangs, it will be absorbed by the octopus, and discharged as basic water. Viole tests it by trying to make a Bang in his hand, and confirms that Shibisu isn't lying.

Shibisu adds that there's no way for him to take the ring off. He also explains that they've already analyzed the FUG Slayer's strength; that despite being a powerful wave controller, his physical abilities are hardly up to par. Aleksai is seen coming out of the hole as Shibisu states that now that Viole can't use shinsu, he's nothing more than a weak boy. Aleksai then walks up the stairs to stand alongside Shibisu as he prepares to fight the FUG Slayer in a physical match. Viole is left surprised to see Aleksai as Shibisu reminds the FUG Slayer that they didn't come here to play the game. The only reason they're here is because his team is sure that they can defeat Viole's FUG Team, and catch the FUG Slayer, before they can make it to the Workshop Battle. He claims that he will be sure to beat Viole up as Aleksai charges in to punch the FUG Slayer.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_35.jpg
Yuto takes the deciding blow for Viole in his fight against Aleksai and Vespa

Viole dodges Aleksai's initial punch, but his reaction is slow due to having to get used to the shinsu blocking ring. Vespa appears behind him taunting the FUG Slayer that his reactions have indeed slowed down, but before Vespa could strike him, her effort is blocked by Yuto. Annoyed that Yuto is interfering, Vespa turns her swarm needles towards the FUG teammate, and fires beams of shinsu.

Viole and Aleksai engage in close-combat, which Viole deduces that his only choice is to try to steal Aleksai's gun away. However, Aleksai continues to keep Viole on the defensive, which surprises the FUG Slayer to the point of wondering if Aleksai has greatly increased his speed since the Floor of Tests. Viole decides that he could try to get in close, but is greeted by an uppercut; shocking the FUG Slayer that Aleksai was expecting that. Viole is then knocked back by the uppercut, and is then greeted by Vespa once more from behind. Stuck in the air due to the uppercut, Viole realizes that Vespa's incoming needle is something he can't dodge. However, Yuto jumps in the way and takes Vespa's strike.

Viole lands safely on the ground as Yuto falls to the floor. The FUG Slayer calls out to Yuto, but Vespa informs him that she's been struck with poison from her needle. Seeing Viole confused, Vespa explains that her needle has a poison within it, and that it can only be cured by the honey in the pot that she carries around. She also warns Viole that should Yuto not be cured within five minutes, it will result in death. Viole looks down at the poisoned Yuto as Vespa is heard taunting him to start begging for the honey.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_36.jpg
Viole relies on the power of the thorn weapon to defeat Aleksai and Vespa

Grasping his hand in frustration, Viole is left wondering if there's really no other way to solve this, but to have to rely on the thorn. Shibisu orders for Aleksai to finish the FUG Slayer. Aleksai charges forward, and in return, Viole prepares to counter with his right arm. To the shock of Shibisu and Vespa, a giant red object that looks like a thorn appears behind Viole as the FUG Slayer slams Aleksai into the ground. Trying to make sense of the situation, Shibisu remains confused about the red object he just saw appear behind Viole, and remains stunned upon seeing Aleksai lying on the ground unconscious.

Next up, Viole looks towards Vespa, who becomes irritated believing that the FUG Slayer is now looking down on the bee person. Vespa dashes behind Viole once more, and taunts the FUG Slayer that she doesn't move the same path. The bee person attempts to stab with the needle once more, but Vespa is left surprised upon seeing Viole catch the needle without looking since he relied on his enhanced senses from the thorn in order to know where Vespa was going to attempt to stab. Viole throwns Vespa over him as the bee person remains lying on the ground. The FUG Slayer orders Vespa to hand over the honey, which irritates Vespa greatly. Seeing Vespa and Aleksai lying on the ground defeated, Shibisu continues to try to make sense of everything; confused that he was sure to have had all the data he needed for this fight.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_37.jpg
Horyang confronts Verdi, which puts a dent in Shibisu's plan

Shibisu deduces that Viole must have endured some incredible physical training recently, but finds that to be impossible since it seemed like the FUG Slayer was struggling to keep up before the appearance of the red thorn object. He assumes that the thorn is similar to Cassano's wing. However, Shibisu figures that they still have a chance since Viole's shinsu usage remains blocked off by Verdi's octopus ring.

At this point, Shibisu is contacted by Verdi, who informs him that a giant man with a wing (Horyang) has appeared before her. Wangnan is seen continuing to peak around the corner surprised to see his last missing teammate suddenly appear before Verdi and the octopus. Shibisu is left stunned that the enemy has already found Verdi's location as Viole states to him that they've reached the point where their battle comes to an end.

Viole asks for Shibisu to give up, and to provide enough bullets for their team to go up, as well as the honey to cure Yuto. The FUG Slayer claims that he has no reason to continue this fight, and will let them go if Shibisu decides to drop this.

Shibisu reminds Viole that he has no reason to give up since his goal has been revenge against FUG rather than fighting in the Workshop Battle. However, the FUG Slayer warns Shibisu that he should accept the deal, which confuses the latter. Viole explains that should Shibisu not accept the deal he will let his poisoned friend die, and then shoot the unconscious Aleksai with a dark bullet so that he can go up by himself, which shocks Shibisu.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_38.jpg
Shibisu accepts Viole's compromise, and calls off the attack on the FUG Team

The FUG Slayer explains that Shibisu would no longer have a beef with FUG if he let's Viole's friend die to pay for the lost person that Shibisu's Team is trying to get revenge for. Viole states once more for Shibisu to pick the leave option, which Vespa yells out for him to not accept it since the bee person still has a transformation skill ready to blow Viole to pieces. However, Shibisu decides to accept it.

Looking at the FUG Slayer in defeat, Shibisu states that he will provide stolen bullets, as well as the honey cure for Yuto, if he lets Vespa go. He also offers to take off Verdi's octopus ring if Viole shoots Aleksai with a light bullet. Ordering Vespa to hand over the honey, Shibisu announces that today's fight with FUG is officially over, and to go back and regroup.

At Verdi's location, the doll-girl is contacted by Shibisu, who informs her that they're falling back, and are planning to head up to the Archimedes. Verdi looks back at Horyang, and is left disappointed since she was preparing herself to have a bit of fun with the giant Regular, which confuses Horyang. She announces to Horyang that she will make Horyang as doll as well once they meet again at the Workshop Battle. However, Verdi's interrupted by Wangnan, who orders the doll-girl to leave Miseng and prince if she's now planning to leave. Horyang is surprised to see Wangnan as Verdi replies that she won't since they're now her dolls. Wangnan charges forward claiming that he refuses to accept that, but Verdi states that he will as she orders her octopus to punch him.

End of the One Shot, One Opportunity Game

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_39.jpg
Verdi escapes with Miseng and Prince still in her possession

Wangnan falls to the ground in pain not able to believe that an octopus would have such a powerful punch as Horyang runs over to him hoping he's ok. Grabbing hold of Miseng and Prince with her octopus, Verdi states that she looks forward to seeing them on the Archimedes. The octopus then shoots off through the ceiling as Wangnan is left watching her get away; mad at himself that he missed his chance to save Miseng and Prince.

Looking at the blue substance that the octopus left behind after it shot up through the ceiling, Wangnan is surprised to see a plethora of Regulars within it, and questions what exactly the octopus had been doing in this game. Wangnan then looks over at Horyang, and is happy to see him again. He asks if Horyang got to meet his friend, which Horyang apologizes that he chose to leave without saying a word to anyone in Sweet and Sour. However, Wangnan quickly reassures Horyang that his choice was the right one, and that everyone in Sweet and Sour misses him. However, Horyang begins to walk away, and apologizes again; stating that he can't eat sweet-and-sour pork with them anymore.

Back to Viole's location, Shibisu is seen sending Vespa up to the Archimedes while the FUG Slayer, now holding Vespa's honey, uses a light bullet to send up Aleksai. Shibisu remains satisfied that Viole kept his end of the deal, but warns the FUG Slayer that the results will be different when they meet again in the Workshop Battle. Shibisu walks away, but leaves off saying that he finds it weird how there's actually a FUG Slayer that exists who cares about his teammates, which leavs Viole silent.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_40.jpg
Nobic having completed Viole's task sending Reflejo and Sia up to Workshop

With Shibisu's Team finally gone, Viole takes off the cloth covering his face, and applies the honey to cure Yuto of the poison. At this point, Nobic appears to inform Viole that he completed the favor asked of him by sending Reflejo and Sia up to the Archimedes with the two stolen bullets the FUG Slayer handed him. Nobic asks why Viole did everything himself to make sure that Shibisu's Team, and the FUG's Team, made it to the Workshop Battle. However, Viole remains silent.

Nobic notices the piece of cloth Viole was using to cover his face, and notes that while he doesn't need to know the reason, he warns the FUG Slayer that problems will soon start to arise if Viole continues to try to do everything himself. He also mentioned that Viole could end up collapsing at some point, but Viole replies that if it's just him that collapses compared to everyone else, then he's fine with it.

Nobic is left surprised by the answer as Viole points out that he doesn't care anymore if he breaks at some point since he's lost his reason to live. From behind a wall in the FUG dormitory, Khun is seen having heard Viole's entire speech to Nobic.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_41.jpg
Team Shibisu finishes sending their remaining members up to Workshop

Khun hears Viole mention that it's about time for them to go up as well, which Nobic agrees with. Nobic also mentions that apparently, Cassano found someone to shoot with a dark bullet so that he can invite himself up. Saddened by what he heard Viole say about not having to reason to live, Khun walks away. Meanwhile, Rak is seen peaking around the corner at Khun; having followed after him this entire time.

Meanwhile, Shibisu reunites with the remainder of his team still on Sepia Island, Verdi with her octopus carrying Miseng and Prince, and the sleeping Lauroe. Verdi asks why they had to leave given that they could have had more fun against the FUG Team after making the deal, which Shibisu explains that the deal was their last chance to escape alive.

Shibisu thinks back to his fight with the FUG Slayer, and admits that he was blinding by revenge, and didn't take Viole seriously. He deduces that since Viole would have been able to use his shinsu properly again, the FUG Slayer would have had powers similar to that of the top-five E-rank Regulars, who are in a league of their own. The silhouette's of the E-rank Regulars in Shibisu's mind show Endorsi, Anaak, Ran, Blarode, and an unknown person. The unknown person appears to be at the top spot to show that the top E-ranker has yet to be revealed.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arc31_42.jpg
Team FUG finishes sending their remaining members up to Workshop

Seeing the unconscious Miseng and Prince behind Verdi, Shibisu asks about them. Verdi answers that they're her dolls, which Shibisu decides to drop knowing that it's connected to her weird hobby. Seeing 42 tickets remaining on his Pocket, Shibisu states that it's about time for them to go up. Verdi fires two light bullets at Miseng and Prince while Shibisu fires a light bullet at Lauroe. Verdi then fires a light bullet at Shibisu to send him up, and then fires a dark bullet at an unconscious Regular captured by her octopus to send herself up.

It flashes back to when Viole sent Aleksai up while Nobic surprises Sia by shooting a light bullet at her from behind. In the present, Viole sees on his Pocket that the ticket count has dropped to 21. Reuniting with Cassano, the Devil of the Right Arm fires light bullets to send Viole and Nobic up. At 16 tickets remaining, Cassano fires a dark bullet at an unconscious Regular he captured to send himself up.

Underneath the FUG Dormitory, Khun finally catches up to Wangnan, who is seen to still be down in the dumps after failing to get Miseng and Prince back. However, Khun turns around, and finally realizes that Rak's been following him. Firing their revolvers, the three of them are sent up to the Archimedes. Several over shots are fired around Sepia Island as the ticket stat on the Pocket has reached 0. Apart from the special fairy floating around, the One Shot, One Opportunity game is pretty much over at this point.

Traveller reveals to Endorsi that Viole is Twenty-Fifth Bam

Within the sewers outside the D-52 room, Endorsi takes a moment to catch her breath after defeating several Workshop patrols. Feeling that they finally stopped trying to chase her, Endorsi is left annoyed that they wouldn't leave her alone throughout the entire game. She yells out claiming that it's Violes fault for handing the Workshop patrol problem over to her, and states that he will kill him the moment she finds the FUG Slayer again. However, her attention is grabbed by Traveller, who's running down a nearby tunnel.

Recognizing the person as the orange-haired goggle Regular that was with Viole, Endorsi greets Traveller with a kick, and knocks him to the ground. Endorsi orders for Traveller to tell her where Viole went, and he refuses to answer. Endorsi replies that she knows he's lying, and threatens to kill him if he doesn't spit out the answer. Traveller states once more that he doesn't know, and asks for Endorsi to stop calling the person that helped him as Viole, and that the person is actually named Twenty-Fifth Bam.

Endorsi complains that she knows for a fact that the person Traveller was with was Viole, and not Twenty-Fifth Bam. However, she takes the moment to realize the name she just said. Unable to complain any further, she asks Traveller why he said that name. Meanwhile, the Bong Bong fairy for the One Shot, One Opportunity game is seen floating behind Endorsi (shooting the fairy automatically provides the shooter a ticket up to the Archimedes). With the Bong Bong fairy hit, the One Shot, One Opportunity game is officially over.

Workshop Battle: One Shot, One Opportunity Tropes

  • Arc Villain: Team Shibisu acts as this for Viole and company. Though to be fair, they're taking on the FUG Team. Team Shibisu also serves as this for Khun and Wangnan's team due to Verdi from their team taking Miseng and Prince captive.
  • Cliffhanger: Endorsi learns that Viole is Twenty-Fifth Bam.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle:
    • Turned into this for Viole vs. Team Shibisu when he was forced to rely on the thorn; defeating Aleksai and Vespa quite easily.
    • It's also heavily implied that Verdi performed this on Miseng and Prince.
  • A Day in the Limelight:
    • A major one for Team Shibisu since the reader gets to see them in action for the first time since the Floor of Test saga. This also includes seeing their two new recruits, Verdi and Vespa, in action.
    • Ran also gets a moment to shine being able to keep up with the Fake Jahad Princess, Anaak.
  • Deadly Game: One Shot, One Opportunity. Trying to outdo, and possibly injure, one another trying to win a ticket to get sent up to the Archimedes.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: The last of the top-5 E-rank Regulars (alongside Endorsi, Anaak, Blarode and Ran) is seen as a silhouette in Shibisu's mind. This Regular is later revealed during the Workshop battle to be the Mad Dog, Varagarv.
  • Flashback: Hatz's off-panel loss to Cassano where he was unable to land a single scratch on the Devil of the Right Arm is briefly seen here.
  • Foreshadowing: During the fight at the FUG dormitory, Yuto of the FUG Team is just barely seen having dark red hair.note
