Irony: Mawile and Ralts were the Bottom 2 of this episode, with resulted in Ralts leaving. They were also the Bottom 2 of Episode 22, but with Mawile leaving instead.
Is That the Best You Can Do?: Quoted by Gligar/Gliscor to the off-screen Medicham upon the former conquering his fear.
Rare Candy: After conquering their respective fears, Gligar and Ekans receive one in their nightmares, causing them to evolve into Gliscor and Arbok respectively.
Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: While none of the Final 30 fear snakes, they do have fears regardless, which include:
Ivysaur: Claustrophobia. He gets a point for using Razor Leaf on the panels surrounding him.
Mareep: Delta Pokémon: She suceeds by defeating a Delta Glalie with Thunder Shock despite being scared of it.
Gligar/Gliscor: Missing a goal in sports. He easily receives a point after failing to aim a soccer ball towards the goal, which led to Medicham giving him a Rare Candy, evolving him in the process.
Ralts/Harmony: Ghost-types. She failed because of Shellos hitting her with Water Pulse, causing Harmony to possess Ralts and make her lose.
Spiritomb: Psuedo-legendaries. Despite being unable to summon Legendaries in his nightmare, Spiritomb still conquered his fear by defeating the Psuedos with Hyper Beam.
Buneary: Knives. Despite her hesitation, Buneary taunted the knife to reach her since she thought that, if Gligar/Gliscor conquered his fear, she would do the same.
Ekans/Arbok: Spiders. Despite her hesitation, she still manages to defeat the Shiny Ariados with Gunk Shot, which led to her evolution.
Mawile: Pyrophobia. She failed because she was running away instead of dousing the fire.
Machop: Getting poisoned. He conquers it by using Earthquake on the Toxic Spikes.
