Venusaur realizes the impact of his actions after Machoke temporarily quits his alliance for betraying him by eliminating Mawile last episode, while Harmony tells Gastrodon that Machoke is gunning for her for Mawile's elimination. The Final 12 (except Phanpy) are tasked with finding an Escape Orb in the Dungeon of Density, which is plagued with "unidentified tremors".

- All for Nothing: What Gastrodon assumed regarding the elimination ceremony when Harmony received a Poképuff instead of leaving. Subverted since the ceremony was, as Medicham said, meant to "stir a pot a bit", as well as for her to apologize to the Final 11 for putting them in danger.
- Armor-Piercing Question: Happens twice in the episode:
- After the disrupted alliance meeting, Venusaur berates Machoke for forcing his frustrations onto Harmony for Mawile's elimination. In response, Machoke asks Venusaur if he would agree if he targeted Ampharos somehow.
Machoke: If I thought for whatever reason that, say, Ampharos was a threat to my game, would you be so approving of that?Venusaur: [becomes too speechless to say anything]- After Machoke saves Gliscor and Ampharos from the Delta Unown, finally fed up with Ampharos's change in attitude, Gliscor briefly stops her from following Machoke, much to her impatience, wondering why Ampharos wanted to save Venusaur so badly.
Gliscor: I get that you want to save Venusaur, but what does this really mean to you?Ampharos: [calms down] You're right. I guess I'm a bit on edge today. Gliscor, I think now is the time I told you. The reason I care so much is because Venusaur... He's my boyfriend. - Big "WHAT?!": Happens a couple times throughout the episode:
- During Venusaur's and Beautifly's alliance meeting, everyone except Machoke's reactions upon him blaming Harmony for Mawile's elimination.
- Venusaur upon Machoke temporary leaving the alliance, thinking that the latter is betraying them.
Machoke: Look, I'm not doing this out of spite. I'm doing this because of the circumstances.- And, finally, during the elimination ceremony, everyone else upon Harmony receiving a Poképuff as penalty from Medicham when she was supposed to leave over Machamp, which no one, especially Gastrodon, took well.
- Darker and Edgier: Compared to the previous episodes.
- Flashback: Fletchinder has one upon realizing the Dungeon of Density somehow looked similar to the cave she was tricked into during the challenge in Episode 2, which also caused Fletchinder to question whether trusting Harmony and Gastrodon is worth it.
- Nothing Personal: Quoted by Ampharos when Gliscor asked why she or Venusaur didn't tell the fact that they are a couple sooner. The reason? She doesn't know Gliscor as well as Venusaur or Machoke.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Happens twice in the episode:
- Upon Machoke blaming Harmony for flipping her vote to eliminate Monferno and frame Mawile, Beautifly, still seeing Harmony as her False Friend, doesn't want to hear Machoke's "excuses" involving her and decides to close off the meeting that way.
Beautifly: I'm not having this discussion! Come on, girls, let's leave!- After Medicham closed off the episode, Phanpy, pissed after not getting the answers she wanted, decides to leave the island on her own behalf.
- This Cannot Be!: Gardevoir's reaction to Harmony regaining control over her after escaping a horde of angry Kecleon over a Joy Seed Harmony stole - and ate - from a Kecleon Shop in the Dungeon of Density.Gardevoir: No! This can't be happening! After so long wandering this endless void in my subconscious, I finally get my body back for a split second, and then I'm here again. This has to be some kind of cruel joke!
- Took a Level in Badass: Kirlia and Harmony evolve into Gardevoir and Machoke evolves into Machamp.
- "You Used to Be Better" Speech: Just before she follows Gliscor into the Dungeon of Density, Ampharos gave one to Machoke, not pleased with the latter refusing to help them find Venusaur.Ampharos: I can't believe this. After you left, Venusaur showed the utmost concern for you and you return the favor by turning your back on him, on top of not even returning that concern when he could need it. I thought you were better than this, Machoke.
