The first chapter of the Tokyo Ghoul Light Novel, Days. Hide is approached by members of Kamii University's Occult Research Club, who are convinced that Kaneki may be a ghoul. Desperate to protect his friend from suspicion, Hide begins to spend time with the group and meets a charismatic Occultist named Cain.
