Recap / Time Stop Brave Ch 30 Victory and Stop

Go To

Despite being in pain from Miria's healing barrier, the Gagankel sisters continue to hit the ball. Mikage hits it back and notes that Miria can't move while she is casting, so she'll have to guard her. Vivia spikes the ball and gets a point. Mikage glares at Sekai, thinking he threw her into a fight she can't win, but he muses that his goal is to put the sisters in so much pain that they forfeit. Gilina serves the ball, but hits it into the net, giving Mikage's team a point. Sekai gloats that his plan is working, but Fury doubts it will be that easy. The sisters continue to aim at Miria. Mikage deflects the ball, but accidentally sends it out of bounds, giving the sisters a point. Vivia gives some pained gloating, but Mikage says she will never give up.

Meanwhile, Leafa finds a secret passage in the Japanese castle leading underground. She finds the tunnel blocked with rocks, but can feel air flowing from the gaps. Gloating that her sword can destroy anything, she slices through the rocks and finds a passage similar to the one leading to the village, complete with another slide. She blocks the tunnel with rocks again to make sure the vampires cannot escape, then goes down the slide and finds a mine shaft with mine carts. She says she has no idea if this will lead back to OffshoreRope, but she is willing to take risks and rides in the cart.

The Gagankel sisters win the game 21-4, but this final game is 2 out of 3. Gilina says she doesn't think she can go on, but Vivia says they just need to hold out a little longer, then once she is the ruler, she will ban all healing magic and worship of Isawera. During a break between games, Mikage thanks Miria for her healing barrier because she is not in any pain despite being struck by the ball several times. Plus, the sisters are exhausted so defeating them should be easier in the next rounds. Miria becomes depressed and more so when Sekai congratulates her and says the sisters will either lose or forfeit. She apologizes and says she can't do this anymore. Her mission is to help people, so she cannot stand making the sisters suffer, even if they are enemies. Niña points out if they lose, the Forces of Darkness will take over the island and ban healing magic, but she still refuses. Sekai suggests finding Mirei, covering her with white powder or something to make her look like Miria, and substituting her in, but then says he was kidding and he's scrapping his plan.

Ranga is back in and says if the sisters are still tired, they have a chance to win. Niña complains about Sekai's plan being ruined, but he says he remembered he came to this island because Miria asked for his help, so he doesn't want to disregard her wishes. This makes her blush. Besides, even if they lose, he'll just come up with a new plan. Niña hugs him and says she believes in him. Fury says if the sisters win, they have a narrow window before the coronation. Sekai says he might be able to make a plan. The timer has about 26 hours left.

The second game begins and Mikage and Ranga face the sisters, who gloat that without Miria's healing barrier, they stand no chance. Ranga angrily calls them arrogant. The sisters easily score points and Sekai says this is bad. Meanwhile, Leafa is back on the surface and meets Mirei, then asks why she is not watching the game. Mirei says she wanted to know what she is up to. Besides, it is clear the Gagankel sisters will win. Leafa shrugs and says she doesn't care, but she knows Mirei is hiding something, so she's willing to listen over some shaved ice.

The exhausted Gagankel sisters win the second game and the match. Miria apologizes, but Sekai says he doesn't mind. King Nazar says that tomorrow, Vivia Gagankel will be crowned the new ruler of the island. Several people become worried that the island will become part of the Realm of Darkness. Nazar privately gloats that Sekai is just a brat who can't do anything and his plan is working perfectly.

As the party eats, Ranga complains about their loss while Mikage feels shame for losing in her princess' name. Niña tries to cheer them up while a random man is jealous of Sekai for being surrounded by women. Fury says they should try to find out where the real mirror is. Sekai later goes to the librarian and asks for anything on the sacred treasure. While she looks though the records, he freezes time to strip her. After he puts her clothes back and unfreezes time, she says the pages on the treasure have been torn out. In bed, he groans that even if he searched the whole palace, he would not be able to tell which one is the right mirror.

Mirei and Leafa walk into his room and say they heard from the librarian about his inquiry and they might be able to fill in some blanks. He says he'll get Fury, freezes time, comes back with her, and unfreezes time. She freaks out a bit before he points out the others. He asks Mirei where the real mirror is. She doesn't know, but she knows what happened to it and what it does.

17 years ago, during the summer solstice, her mother took the mirror and then went missing. The previous ruler, Anela Rope, entered the labyrinth with a party intending to switch the mirror with a fake. Fury asks how she knows all of this. Mirei admits she was only 2 years old at the time, but this is the conclusion she made after her own and Leafa's investigations. Fury tells her to go on, but Sekai freezes time to strip and grope Fury's breasts, saying her presence helps him get through this story. He puts her clothes back and unfreezes time, making her glare at him. Mirei says her mother, Marina Kahuna, the previous shaman, was part of Anela's party and realized Anela was unworthy as ruler. This is because the mirror reveals the truth as her mother taught her and Miria, so it exposed Anela's true nature. Sekai gets confused, so Fury summarizes that the mirror exposes secrets. Anela wanted to substitute it so it would not be a threat to her or Nazar. Niña walks in and concludes that Marina took the real mirror and ran off with it. They ask how long she was listening and she says ever since Fury disappeared from her bed. She figured Fury and Sekai were doing something by themselves, annoying them.

Mirei says she assumed her mother fell into the lava with the real mirror, but Leafa found another world inside, so what if she fled into it with the mirror? She examined all the mirrors in the palace and none of them are real, so this is the only conclusion she has. Sekai says he'll investigate the Japanese village one more time, but Leafa says she already did that and she didn't find it. He starts to complain, but realizes someone from the village may have brought it with them. There is still hope.
