Recap / Time Stop Brave Ch 26 Salamander and Stop

Go To

The girls ask what that explosion was and Fury says it looked like a bomb. As they wonder what is going on, Sekai appears and orders ice cream. He tells them about the flaming dragon, or salamander, which guards a door that he is sure holds the sacred treasure. The last time he checked, the guards are nowhere close to reaching it. Leafa brags that she killed a salamander before, but Ranga calls her a liar, saying her tribe once fought one and it killed five of them before escaping, so it is impossible to kill one alone. Leafa says she is better than them, so Ranga says to prove it by fighting her. In a split second, Leafa slashes her bra off, delighting Sekai. Leafa suddenly notices Ranga is not holding her axe and realizes she hurled it while she was not looking. The axe flies back like a boomerang and Leafa blocks it in time. The two acknowledge each other as worthy opponents. Ranga decides she does not care about being topless, but Niña fixes her bra and returns it.

Sekai says he needs their help and freezes time. He brings Leafa, Ranga, and Miria to the room with the salamander and unfreezes time. The salamander attacks and they all have to dodge its flame breath. Sekai quickly explains the guards are still trying to get past the first level while Leafa complains about him not giving her any warning. Scared, Miria asks why she is here and he says so she can heal them if necessary. He tells Leafa and Ranga to lure the salamander into the hole in the wall, which he spent a lot of time making bigger. Sekai freezes time to carry Miria into the hole and slide down the slope, then unfreezes time. The other two lure the salamander and they all slide down the slope. Leafa prepares to fight, but Sekai says his plan was just to get the salamander out of the way.

He freezes time, summons Gankichi, and carries them to the Japanese village. He takes a break to cook some food and eat it. He and Gankichi then construct a wooden elevator to carry the girls and all the villagers up to the cliff where he blasted through the wall, saying he will destroy the elevator when he is done so the vampires cannot follow them easily. He decides to bring the food in the village as well. He eventually gets everyone out and onto the mountain in OffshoreRope, but says there is still more to be done.

When he unfreezes time, he, Fury, and Niña are in the chamber where the salamander was. The girls are confused and he explains that they got rid of the salamander. He needs Niña to unlock the door. As she starts doing that, he notes that the timer has roughly 23 hours left, but each time he came to this door, it took him a day and a half. He hopes getting the sacred treasure will trigger the Stage Clear. The door is unlocked and they find a treasure chest. Inside is a jeweled mirror. They examine it, but cannot find anything special about it. He accidentally drops it and it breaks. He awkwardly freezes time, then he and Gankichi make a fake mirror and put it in the chest for the guards to find. He then carries everyone back to the surface.

He goes to the mountain and unfreezes time. The villagers are marveling at the Sun and their surroundings while Leafa, Ranga, and Miria are confused. He explains to the princess that their old land is lost to the vampires, so he brought them to a land of eternal summer, just like he promised. He apologizes to Miria for springing all these refugees on her, but she approves. Suddenly, the sky darkens and a fireworks display happens while he receives the STAGE CLEAR message. As the villagers say the fireworks are beautiful and Leafa and Ranga reminisce on seeing them before, Sekai wonders what triggered it since getting the sacred treasure did not do it. The princess says she cannot thank him enough, then apologizes for not introducing herself right away. She is Sayuki Takegawa, daughter of Aritsune Takegawa. He realizes he was supposed to save her and her village.
