Adventurer Francois Lemaire does a close-up visit as Halley's Comet comes through Earth's solar system, but when he tries to fly his ship through the comet's tail it's disabled. International Rescue launches a perilous mission to save the stranded explorers.

- Not only that, this episode's evidently at least the second time International Rescue's bailed out Francois Lemaire, since he recognizes Scott from the time they saved him from his birthday party going pear-shaped in the Mariana Trench (which is the deepest point in the ocean, and as such a pretty dumb place to just make a casual visit).
- Women Are Wiser: Francois' wife Madeleine is much calmer and aware where her husband is flashy but foolish.
