Kevin is happy when he hears that the upcoming field trip to a history museum will be a joint field trip with Winnie's school, meaning they will be able to hang out together on the trip. When the school buses meet up, Winnie reluctantly sneaks onto Kevin's bus. While Kevin's friends want to find a rumored room on the fourth floor, Kevin is annoyed that Winnie wants to stick with her friends from her school. Eventually, Kevin gets lost and talks with Madeline. Winnie walks in on them as they're talking and runs off. Kevin runs after Winnie to tell her that nothing came between them, but then Winnie informs Kevin that she met somebody, and breaks up with him.
