Original Airdate (Twitch): October 9, 2021

The group has been advised to contact Madam Ava once more in order to gain insight on the current state of the world. While trying to track her down, the group stumbles across a village that should not have been there, but the village itself turns out to be less worrying than its current inhabitants. After struggling to survive the experience, the group locate the Vistani, and Madam Ava not only offers another tarot reading, but also a chance to speak with friends from beyond the grave...
  • Body of Bodies: Everyone in the village is dead, and the only animate thing is a giant abomination that appears to be made out of corpses. The party manages to blast it apart, but as they escape, they see the remains ripping pieces from regular dead bodies in order to rebuild itself.
  • Dead Person Conversation: When Madam Ava notices Kapnos is wearing Calamity's bracer, she offers the players a chance to speak with the dead using an Ouija Board.
  • Deal with the Devil: According to Calamity's spirit, Sumer made a deal with a "murderer" from beyond the grave.
  • Foreshadowing: Just like their first encounter with Ava, the party draws Tarot cards that indicate their current destinies. In order, Brand draws the Darklord, Ray draws the Horseman (the encounter with the Night Reaper at their friends' graves), Grymharl draws the Raven (the stranger with voice mimicry and raven spies looking for Sophia), Kapnos draws the Charlatan, and Wihakayda draws the Bishop.
  • Forgiveness: When Grymharl gets a chance to use the Ouija Board, she reaches out to the little girl she killed before all this began, and asks what she can do to make things right with her. All she gets in reply is "FORGIVE YOURSELF".
  • Innocently Insensitive: At the start of the episode, Brand has a nightmare in which his entire Ork family is slaughtered while he's away. At the end, he uses the Ouija Board to confirm that his family isn't really dead, and he loudly proclaims how happy he is that all of his friends are alive. This is literally seconds after the party contacts their dead friend Calamity for advice and questions about what happened to Sumer, which leads to everyone glaring at the oblivious Brand.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Before they depart Sophia's abode, Wihakayda can't help but notice that Sophia is acting uncharacteristically cagey, trying to hide her current research from prying eyes. However, as Sophia had recently lost so much and is still their friend, Wihakayda decides not to agitate her further.
  • Wham Line: When the party is contacting the spirits of the dead, Ray is one of the first to go, and proves that it can't contact the living as well as that his husband really is alive when the nearby candles just sputter instead of dimming as they should. So a bit later, when the candles are again described as only sputtering when Kapnos reaches out to Sumer, the entire party is surprised and aghast.
