Original Airdate (Twitch): October 28, 2020:

The final installment of Da Krew 3. Da Krew arrive on Spitroast's desert-cowboy planet, and instigate their mutiny against Gadzookz.

I may be backed into a corner, but I'm not under a thumb.

  • Becoming the Mask: When Lupus says Da Krew can visit "Jeremy", said person corrects him, stating that he prefers the name Mawp Bukkit.
  • The Bus Came Back: Lupus shows up after the battle against Gadzookz and Mawp's near-death experience, congratulating Da Krew for finishing off his loose end, and offering medical assistance for the Humie.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: Lupus gets mentioned during a mid-episode flashback and later shows up in-person at the episode's climax to save Mawp's life.
  • Dig Your Own Grave: Mawp pacifies the curious Humies that ask why they're digging up graves by telling them Da Krew (whose cover is "Spitroast's sick relatives") were "hopeful but realistic" about being cured.
  • Divine Intervention: Mawp Bukkit required a roll of 15 or less on a d100 to survive their Heroic Sacrifice, and Connor rolled a 14. It's interpreted as Mawp having a vision of Heaven, and the Emperor, who states that the world still needs men like Jeremy "the Ork"...followed by returning to mortality, feeling the glow of the dagger they found, and the words "The Emperor Protects".
  • Extended Disarming: There is a lengthy sequence of Gronk giving Peezes all of their weaponry before having a personal chat with Mawp, which includes guns, grenades, and sharpened scrap metal, stored everywhere from his shirt to his boots.
  • Faking the Dead: When Gadzookz calls Da Krew to ask what's taking so long, they pass the communicator to Spitroast, who says he killed them. This works flawlessly, and convinces Gadzookz to come deal with Spitroast himself, giving Da Krew the perfect opportunity to set up an ambush.
  • Friend-or-Idol Decision: Kormag has to decide whether to work on Chromedome's new body, or store some teeth from the infinite chest they planned to give to Spitroast, before they reach Spitroast's planet. He decides to split duties, and the wealth, with other members of Da Krew. However, as a result, the body is only half-complete by the time they arrive and is unable to participate in the planned mutiny.
  • Genuine Imposter: Da Krew learns from Spitroast's lackeys that Spitroast himself is in disguise in the Humie village of Fool's Gold, so Mawp Bukkit volunteers to "disguise" himself as a human to find him.
  • Going Native: Spitroast, who was said to be "in disguise" in the town of Fool's Gold, turns out to be its Sheriff. However, while in a position of respect, he doesn't actually care about the lives of the Humies beyond how they might interfere with his goals.
  • Grave Robbing: Spitroast tells Da Krew that the main reason he was on this planet was to uncover the bodies of some legendary bandits killed by the last Sheriff, and take the powerful guns that were buried with them. Da Krew help him out by going to the local cemetery and digging up one of the right bodies, which does have weapon parts buried with it.
  • Heroic Sacrifice: Mawp dives in front of Gronk to protect him from one of Gadzookz's attacks, ending up near-death. Miraculously, he lives long enough to get proper medical attention from Lupus' men, but still sacrifices An Arm and a Leg.
  • Internal Reveal: In a one-on-one confrontation on the way to Spitroast's planet, Gronk figures out that Mawp Bukket isn't an Ork. Mawp reveals their amnesia, and then takes off the bucket. Gronk keeps their secret, as their goals still align. Much later, the others learn too, when the battle against Gadzookz ends and Mawp's dying from fatal wounds with a knocked-off bucket. They all still accept him as their friend.
  • Odd Friendship: Mawp and Gronk form one after Mawp reveals his Humie-ness, with Mawp sharing his last Capri Sun with Gronk, and Gronk taunting Gadzookz by saying he's met Humies more Orky than him.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: Spitroast manages to convince the Humie townsfolk that Da Krew are actually members of his family, and just look green because they're sick. Additionally, while they cover Kortag's metal arm with a cloak, Peezes' half-metal face is still exposed. Luckily, the Humies are stupid.
  • The Reveal: Oh boy, there's TONS, scattered throughout the episode. First, Gronk recognizes Mawp, who was there the day that Da Krew's original warboss was killed, and Mawp's amnesia was almost certainly a result of Aaaaa's powers. Later, right before the big battle against Gadzookz, Gronk takes Mawp aside and tells him all he remembers about that day, restoring Mawp's memories...including a black-armored and fur-wearing individual, standing alongside Lupus Magnus Cylon the Fourth, the rogue trader that sent Da Krew on their very first mission, and who Mawp witnessed killing Gadzookz the first time. Even later, as he's dying from Gadzookz's attack, Mawp remembers their true identity: Pvt. Jeremy Taylor, of the Astra Militarum. And finally, when Lupus picks them up and provides Mawp with medical aid, the black-armored, wolf-pelted individual is identified as Thagarin Thunderfury of the Space Wolves, a former Adeptus Astartes and Death Watch Space Marine.
  • Season Finale: This episode is the finale of Da Krew 3, and features a huge battle, major revelations, and the resolution to both the current story arc and Mawp's character arc.
  • Secret-Keeper: After their one-on-one talk, in which Mawp's cover is blown, Mawp offers to let Gronk kill him. But Gronk's an Ork of his word, having said he wouldn't kill him if he revealed the truth, and promises to not tell the others, as long as they all continue to fight for the same cause.
  • Shout-Out: The first grave that Da Krew decide to dig up when looking for weapons Spitroast talked about belonged to Leisure Suit Larry, who apparently died of a STD. The grave they dig up next, which actually contains the parts they were looking for, was for Kenny "the Kid" Williams, referencing both Sierra co-founder Ken Williams and the character inspired by him in Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist.
  • Taking the Bullet: Mawp Bukkit uses his "Get Down, Sir!" ability to dive in front of Gronk and save him from Gadzookz's blow, taking fatal wounds in the process.
  • The War Sequence: Da Krew set one up on Spitroast's planet, even calling in the Orks they recruited from Dave-3 as reinforcements in battle against Gadzookz and his loyalists.
  • We Can Rebuild Him: Da Krew attempts to get the still-conscious head of Chromedome back in action by building him a Warboss body from scrap. When the attempt fails, Kortag tries to settle for welding him to a ship, though he's told to stick to "repairing" and lead the "creating" to mech specialists like Peezes...who ends up making just a functional torso and arms by the time they reach Spitroast's planet. Chromedome still loves it.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: It turns out that Spitroast's world is based on Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist, with the clip-eared Spitroast using the titular character as his pseudonym in the Western-motif Humie town. And given the events of Dave-3, plus the Shout Outs in the town's graveyard, it's easy to assume that the third mission Gadzookz offered Da Krew at the start of this arc (a space station full of Humies) would have referenced yet another Sierra game...and Word of God confirmed during the next Alivast Art Gallery stream that it would've been based on Space Quest II: Vohaul's Revenge.
