- The Alibi: Marcus is able to prove Zack is innocent by showing Mr. Moseby the timestamp on his camera that shows Zack was filming Marcus' video at the same time the flood occurred.
- Chekhov's Gag: Early in the episode, Mr. Moseby gets startled by a dolphin while in the Aqua Lounge. This is what really caused the flood: he had dropped his pocket hanky in the process and it fell into the vent, which clogged the air duct and caused a rupture that cracked the window.
