  • The Alibi: Marcus is able to prove Zack is innocent by showing Mr. Moseby the timestamp on his camera that shows Zack was filming Marcus' video at the same time the flood occurred.
  • Chekhov's Gag: Early in the episode, Mr. Moseby gets startled by a dolphin while in the Aqua Lounge. This is what really caused the flood: he had dropped his pocket hanky in the process and it fell into the vent, which clogged the air duct and caused a rupture that cracked the window.
  • Clear My Name: Marcus is able to prove Zack is innocent since he was helping with filming all day.
  • Noodle Incident: London mentions she's been thrown out of preschool, middle school, high school, dance club, glee club, and Switzerland.
  • Put on a Bus: Marcus leaves the ship after his musical idea is picked up by Broadway producers.
  • Rule of Three: At least three other people realize they might've caused the flood instead: Bailey thinks her plants grew too much that they broke through the hull and cracked the window, Cody thinks he accidentally threw his knife at the window, and Woody thinks he might've caused some big vibrations when he went to the toilet.
  • Springtime for Hitler: London tells her dad she caused the flood in hopes of getting kicked off the ship, but she only gets an allowance cut instead.
  • Taking the Heat: After Mr. Moseby realizes he's gonna get fired for causing the flood, London calls his dad and claims she's the culprit instead.
  • Tempting Fate: After Zack remarks he's glad no one is leaving, cue Marcus saying he's leaving.
  • Tomato in the Mirror: Mr. Moseby is the one who caused the flood.
  • Trailers Always Spoil: The episode description spoiled Marcus leaving the ship before the episode aired proper.
