Flanderization: Brainy's boasting ego and arrogance have been taken up to eleven, especially in the court scenes. He frames Clumsy for the disappearance of Baby Smurf, when it should be his responsibility to take care of the little infant.
Getting the Boot: Brainy is tossed out of the village after claiming to finish off his case.
Jerkass: One of the most infamous portrayals of Brainy Smurf. Brainy doesn't apologize to Clumsy for thinking he lost Baby earlier. He instead congratulates everyone for finding Baby and proceeds to finish off his case. After being thrown elsewhere in the forest, he mutters to himself about some justice and never regrets for what he did.
Kangaroo Court: The episode includes plenty of jokes and visual gags involved in a courtroom, albeit it takes place outside.
No Sympathy: Brainy isn't regretful for accusing Clumsy of child endangerment, nor does he apologize for his actions.
Out of Focus: Azrael doesn't get as much screen time as The Smurfs in this episode.
