Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Dum accompany the gang to visit the film set where their cousin Scooby-Dee is remaking a movie originally starring famous actor Milo Booth. However, Booth's ghost doesn't want his film remade, and the gang must rescue Dee from him.
This episode includes examples of the following:
- Body Double: Variant — the villain plans to have his dog (who would only obey him) impersonate Scooby-Dee so he can make a lot of money off the impostor's movies.
- Expy: In his disguise as the ghost of Milo Booth, the villain's claimed motive makes him one for Basil Karlo, the first Clayface, who tried to stop the filming of a remake of a movie he'd starred in.
- Kissing Cousins: This episode marks the only appearance of Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Dum's cousin Scooby-Dee. Both Doo and Dum find her very attractive. Whether or not the fact that they're all dogs eases the weirdness is up to you.
- Out-of-Character Alert: When Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Dum ask for a kiss, the impostor Scooby-Dee, disgusted at the thought, instead stretches their lips, wets her paw on a fountain and pats said lips making it look like she kissed them. This tips them off, as the real Scooby-Dee is usually more than happy to kiss her cousins.
