The 1st in a series of short stories related to the canon.
A string of characters go through a series of interviews with Sir and Z-Squared to see who's qualified for secretary duty. Among them are Alvin (the CGI version) the chipmunk, Slippy Toad (classic), a Shear Kraken, Titan, Bubsy Bobcat, and an intelligent Troodon that can turn invisible named Doc. The last one wins.

- Badass Boast / Dare to Be Badass: Titan attempts this. Keyword 'attempts'.
- Buffy Speak: Sir, upon hearing Titan's many titles, decides to just call him 'Angry Dark Tool'.
- Call-Back: Sir is right to know that the maid thing during 'Hands of Fate, Hands of Doom' was NOT a good idea.
- Also, his habit of snagging people from different universes is wearing thin on his brother's nerves.
- Finger Poke of Doom: The final fate of Alvin, courtesy of Sir.
- Gallows Humor: Sir claims there are many seasons to go before they join the choir invisible.
- Hell Is That Noise: Alvin's rendition of 'Fish Heads' didn't sit well with Sir.
- Killed Off for Real / Gorn: Bubsy Bobcat meets Kraken from Planet Shear. The result is obvious.
- High-Voltage Death: Classic Slippy Toad is fried by Sir's lightning, though.
- Pet the Dog: Z-Squared does admit Slippy got better with time, but they still have to deal with the time when he was an annoyance.
- Sure, Let's Go with That: Upon seeing what Doc can do and after hearing his backstory, Z-Squared decides on one thing..."Eh, the dinosaur can talk and turn invisible."
- This Is Gonna Suck: Some quotes come off like this, but what else were you expecting?
- Terrible Interviewees Montage: The fanfic. Really, the people that they nearly choose are TERRIBLE.
