Recap / The Real Ghostbusters Slimer 23 Dog Days

Go To

Slimer is outside, when he sees Mrs. Van Huego and Fred in the back of a car, but Fred holds up a "Help!" sign. Slimer follows the car, as Mrs. Van Huego drives Fred to an obedience school. Fred doesn't want to go, especially when he sees that the owner of the school is Mrs. Stone, who promises to "whip him into shape".

Mrs. Van Huego leaves, and Mrs. Stone calls Bruiser over and has him put Fred with the other dogs. Slimer decides he must bail Fred out, and disguises himself as a dog with a mop and duster from the supply cupboard. Slimer tells Fred he's here, then Mrs. Stone and Bruiser have the dogs do an obstacle course. Slimer then leaves and Bruiser slips on some ectoplasm and falls down a rocky hill.

He lands in the river, has a hollow log land on him so he isn't, and goes over a waterfall. He's launched through the air and crashes through Mrs. Stone's office window, knocking her over. She angrily throws him out and yells at him to do his job.

He starts teaching the dogs to fetch, but Slimer eats his newspaper instead of fetching it. Bruiser chases him and Slimer flies off and changes the machine to throw many newspapers at once instead of one at a time. Bruiser tries to throw the papers back but has trouble, then Mrs. Stone yells at him to control them but he can't.

By the time Mrs. Van Huego comes back to pick Fred up, there are mountains of newspapers. Mrs. Van Huego wants to bring Fred back to obedience school the next day, but Mrs. Stone frantically graduates him and closes the school down just so that it won't happen.
