Casey come over to give the men a coffee pot in exchange for letting her use their kitchen. The telephone rings, and Alex answers it. The call is for Casey. She learns that her boyfriend is coming over from Michigan for a visit. After Casey leaves, the three men sit down, and Todd says they are lucky she has a boyfriend, recalling their past experience with a girl in the seventh grade.
Meanwhile, Wiseman finds a patient who came in for a teeth cleaning for the third time this week. He calls Alex and Todd, as the female patient seems to be visiting for more than teeth cleaning.
Visiting Casey at her apartment, as she seemed upset earlier at the Chinese restaurant nearby when she was there, and she said that her boyfriend is not coming due gto matters related to work, and it was the third time he canceled. Alex advises her to call her boyfriend on it.
A few minutes later, as the men are watching television, Casey barges in, furious. She tells them that her boyfriend just broke up with her, and afterwards she tells them she is going out to have a meaningless fling.
The next morning, they wonder where Casey is, as she usaully comes over for coffee. The three men argue who gvets to bring coffee over to her. Casey comes over. Alex offers coffee, while Wiseman over Cogniac. Casey talks about what she said about having a fling, and she said that the men were just across the hall, and then her telephone rings and she goes back to her apartment to answer. The men all assume Casey wants to have a fling with one of them. They all argue, and Alex reminds them that this is Dana Furber (the girl from 7th grade) all over again. Casey comes back and says she has to get to class, and will finish the conversation later!
Wiseman goes to the dental office and sees the female patient again, naked except for the bib covering her chest. He tells her he can not hook up with her for professional reasons.
The three men all accuse each other of trying to hook up with Casey, due to a bouquets of roses left at her door, and a wooden structure Todd assembled without the benefit of an instruction manual. Casey bursts in and tells them her boyfriend sent the bouquets, and thanks them for their advice. They ask about what she wanted to tell them, and she said she asked if they knew someone she might have had a fling with. When they asked if she would have a fling with one of them, she laughs.
