Bianca and Barbarus Bikini, a.k.a "The Fashionistas", return, and seem to have gone straight by entering the fashion industry, starting by creating a multipurpose scarf, "Smooji". It becomes a fast sensation of Townsville, but the Professor refuses to let the girls have one due to Bianca's slogan of "Looks Are Everything", which he disagrees with. However, the girls become tempted to disobey him when they see their classmates wearing it, and things become even more dire when the Bikinis' reveal a few tricks up their sleeves..

- Berserk Button: Being disobeyed for the Professor. Once he finds out that Blossom put back on her Smooji after telling her not to and got brainwashed in the process, the first thing he does is rip his tablet in half.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: Blossom, after Bianca activates the Smoojis to wrap around their victims heads and take control of them, with Bianca personally making Blossom her bodyguard.
- Kids Are Cruel: Once the Smooji takes off, the girls go to school the next day and find their classmates all have them, and are likewise mocked for not following the trends. What's more, Blossom is kicked off the student council for this reason as well.
- Papa Wolf: Once the Professor finds out Blossom disobeyed him and put her Smooji back on, he drives directly to where Bianca is holding her rally and single-handily stops the scheme himself! Even when it clear he's outmatched due to the brain-washed Blossom and Barbarus guarding Bianca, he doesn't give up, and refused to allow Bubbles and Buttercup to help fight as he deals with it.
- Photo Montage: When the girls get their Smoojis, they post their 10 selfies to Distract-o-gram. It comes to a crashing halt when the Professor steps in when they get home.
- Spit Take: Bubbles' reaction to the sales pitch of the Smooji (one free puppy from Puppy Island with every purchase), followed by an enthusiastic shriek.
- Shout-Out:

- The way the Professor throws the selfie stick at Bianca's monitor is a parody of the 1984 Apple Super Bowl Commercial.
- Skewed Priorities: The Professor is more concerned about Blossom disobeying him when she puts her Smooji back on, when his biggest concern should be that she and the rest of Townsville have been turned into mindless robots forced into servitude for Bianca.
