Stuntin'

Original air date: 7/3/23

Patrick suffers a serious injury, and to avoid it from happening again, Squidina casts a Stunt Double. The perfect candidate turns out to be GrandPat, who soon abuses his power to win all the attention from Patrick's family and audience.

Stuntin' contains examples of:

  • Bookends: Patrick's motorcycle stunt is what kicks off the episode, and at the end, he repeats it with GrandPat repeatedly trying to sub in for him, leading the two to constantly interrupt it and try to replace each other.
  • Broken Record: When Patrick is showing the audience how to make a cheese sandwich, he says "you got your cheese..." six times in a row, all while piling more cheese on.
  • Coconut Meets Cranium: One of Patrick's classic sketches involves him shaking a coconut tree, getting hit on the head with a coconut, and saying "Mmm, coco-nutty!" When Squidina is trying to prevent his injuries, she has GrandPat sub in and get hit instead.
  • Hope Spot: After GrandPat steals Patrick's birthday celebration, he sees a small bit of cake with a candle and hopes that he can at least have his birthday wish. Turns out GrandPat already wished for a giant ice cream cone, and he got it.
  • Hostile Show Takeover: GrandPat takes over Patrick's show and starts doing his own stunts. Patrick tries to become his stunt double instead, and Squidina comes up with a way to decide on it.
  • Insistent Terminology: Patrick's coconut sketch is always called his "classic coconut comedy bit".
  • Impossible Pickle Jar: Patrick is able to pull off an incredibly complicated and fast-paced motorcycle stunt. What injures him is trying to open a pickle jar afterwards, which snaps his wrist bone through his arm. GrandPat, meanwhile, opens it with little effort.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: GrandPat is just trying to hog Patrick's attention for himself, and he gets upset when Patrick wants to do his own stunts. However, he has a point that there can't be two stunt doubles each trying to do each other's stunt. Squidina even agrees and comes up with a way to settle it.
  • Look Behind You: Not wanting to fight a sea bear in Patrick's place, GrandPat comes up with a plan to get out of it. He distracts Squidina by pointing away and claiming to see Mermaid Man. As Squidina is looking, GrandPat unscrews the lid on the airhorn Squidina uses to signal GrandPat being swapped in Patrick's place. By the time she fixes it, Patrick has already taken all the beatings, leaving GrandPat to claim the victory.
  • Malaproper: After GrandPat's place, Patrick declares himself "the real McBoy" (the correct phrase being "the real McCoy").
  • No Fourth Wall: Patrick pauses GrandPat while he's spinning in the air, goes into the smear, takes GrandPat out, and puts himself in, talking to the audience the entire time.
  • Obvious Stunt Double: Parodied. While Squidina does at least chop off GrandPat's beard to make him look more like Patrick, he's not only a different color, but visibly older and has a completely different voice. All the audience members insist that they absolutely know what Patrick looks like and they can tell that GrandPat is totally him. Even Squidina and Patrick's parents can't tell the difference.
  • Red Boxing Gloves: Patrick and GrandPat wear red boxing gloves during the deathmatch.
  • Sudden Soundtrack Stop: When Patrick's "classic coconut comedy bit" is interrupted so he can switch places with GrandPat, the music stops while he gets into position, and continues once the skit is continued.
  • Unflinching Walk: During his stunt, Patrick rides past a giant fireball caused from a man lighting his barbecue grill. He looks at the audience and says, "Cool as ice!"
  • Victory by Endurance: Patrick only wins the boxing match because he is able to withstand his opponent, a sea bear, beating him up for so long that it gets tired and falls asleep.

Olly Olly Organ Free

Original air date: 7/4/23

A particularly disgusting lunch leads Patrick's stomach to revolt and leave his body, with the rest of his organs following suit. Left as a shapeless mass, how can he find a way to replace them?

Olly Olly Organ Free contains examples of:

  • Body Horror: As a result of replacing his organs with kitchen utensils, Patrick becomes a misshapen monstrosity. Everyone actually loves his new look, calls him handsome, and has nothing but praise for it.
  • Everyone Has Standards: While Patrick is an Extreme Omnivore with a Bizarre Taste in Food, he actually hesitates before eating the gross food in the fridge. He only does it because his stomach is grumbling loudly and there's nothing else to eat.
  • Freaky Is Cool: Everyone loves Patrick's appliance-filled body because of the useful tools he has built in, like a hair dryer and a pencil sharpener. Cecil and Bunny even try eating furniture so they can look like him.
  • Gross-Up Close-Up: A few. There's the first shot of Patrick's new body, and various disgusting close-ups in the meat freezer.
  • Heel Realization: Patrick's organs begin to realize that they've had no right to get mad at them once they see how scary and dangerous the outside world is, and track down Patrick so they can apologize.
  • Malaproper: Three in quick succession.
    • Patrick pronounces "segue" as "seg-yoo" instead of "segway".
    • Patrick refers to abdominal surgery as "abominable" surgery.
    • Patrick says "if you sneeze" instead of "if you please".
  • Organ Autonomy: Patrick's organs leave his body and run around freely, even being able to drive vehicles and dance.
  • Spoof Aesop: Patrick is about to say what he's learned from the episode ("A wise man once said—") but then gets crushed under a huge ton of junk before he can finish his sentence.
  • Stab the Salad: We think Squidina is using a chainsaw to open up Patrick and see his organs. She's actually carving a key, which Patrick uses to cleanly and painlessly open up his stomach like a cabinet.
  • Way Past the Expiration Date: The food in Patrick's fridge has mostly degenerated into green sludge, with one burger staying in so long it's gained sentience.
