While practicing with his alien forms with the Rainbooms, Flash discovers he suddenly has a brand new alien form that he has a hard time controlling. Meanwhile, Equestrian Magic infects Fleur's book on Prance myths and legends, turning the creatures inside of it real.
- Adaptational Explanation: In canon, there was no explanation to why Ben suddenly gained several new aliensnote . Here, Twilight thinks that the power surge the Omnitrix suffered on Vilgax's ship may be responsible for Flash unlocking this new alien, and guesses it could be possible Flash will gain new ones in the future too.
- Always Someone Better: The opening scene has Rainbow and XLR8 racing, with XLR8 narrowly taking the win. Though it is pointed out even if XLR8 is a little bit faster than Rainbow, she is still superior in other areas. like being able to run for longer than he can due to the limited time he is available.
- "Everybody Laughs" Ending: The chapter ends with everyone laughing, as Flash chases the others around throwing slimeballs at them.
- Eye Scream: The Tarrasque has one of its eyes blinded when Shining Armor shoots a bazooka in its face. Then later its other eye is blinded when Lindwhirl runs over it, effectively rendering it completely blind.
- Mr. Exposition: Spike has become an expert about dragons, due to having learned all he can about them after finding out he was a dragon in Equestria himself. He is able to identify Flash's new alien form and give a brief history of it, and identifies the Tarrasque when he sees it.
- No Ontological Inertia: Subverted; the Rainbooms think that stopping the magical source, in this case Fleur's book, will also remove the Tarrasque since it was brought into existence by it. Stopping the book stops it from potentially creating more monsters, but it unfortunately does not stop the Tarrasque, leaving Flash to deal with it himself.
- Properly Paranoid: Rarity keeps herself sealed in a plastic bubble at the junkyard. Though partly to avoid the filth, she says it is also because she knows what will happen when Rainbow and XLR8 arrive. Sure enough, they kick up a huge cloud of dust when they arrive at the end of their race, with everyone coughing from it except Rarity.
- Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Fleur didn't realize her book was infected by Equestrian Magic and was producing the monsters she was reading about. Once she finally realizes it, she gives her book to the Rainbooms, hoping they can stop it.
