- Borrowed Catchphrase: While the Critic is going berserk over the phrase "Bat Credit Card" (see below), Linkara ends the video on his behalf: "He's the Nostalgia Critic; he remembers it so you don't have to!"
- Call-Back: After the review is over, Critic insults Linkara about his special effects. All Linkara does is say, "Bat Credit Card," and Critic pulls out a gun and starts shooting in random directions.
- Crossover: With Linkara.
- Death Glare: The Critic gives one to Linkara when he finds out Linkara's been imitating him.
- The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You: The Critic's gunshot reaches Linkara's room.
- Hostile Show Takeover: Linkara attempts to do this to the Critic's show, but the Critic quickly takes it back.
- This Is Gonna Suck: Linkara and the Critic have this feeling about reviewing Superman IV.Critic: Let's go ahead and review... What are we reviewing again? (title appears) Oh, fuck donkeys!
- Your Princess Is in Another Castle!: The Critic stops Linkara from trying to weasel out of the review after he was caught imitating the Critic.Critic: Oh, no you don't! You started this dumbass review, we're gonna finish it. But first, get out of those clothes! (fires pistol in Linkara's direction)
