Critic decides to discuss the controversy over the ending of the Tom & Jerry short "Blue Cat Blues", where Tom & Jerry, after discovering their crushes are nothing more than Gold Digger backstabbing heart-breakers, are Driven to Suicide by being run over by a train, which only gets closer as the short irises out.

- Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: In-Universe it does acknwoledge that "Blue Cat Blues" being the ending is actually an urban legend based in misunderstanding, and that the real finale is a short called "Tot Watchers" which couldn't be any further from Blue Cat Blues.
- Tempting Fate: At the end, Critic believes there's nothing that would cause him to be Driven to Suicide until he checks his cellphone. What he sees on it causes him to immediately leave his chair, and suddenly take Jerry's place sitting on the tracks next to Tom to await the inevitable as the train approaches.
