Rabbit goes on vacation for a day to see his family. Rabbit tells Pooh that no one is allowed near the former's house and garden and that everything's been taken care of before leaving. Unfortunately, Pooh misunderstands and he, Piglet, Tigger, and Gopher try to take care of the chores Rabbit usually does. Hilarity ensues especially when they try to hide the mess they made before Rabbit returns home.
This episode contains examples of:
- Garden-Hose Squirt Surprise: Pooh and Tigger accidentally cause one when trying to water Rabbit's garden.
- Gone Horribly Right: Rabbit decided to take a vacation due to being caught up on his work, but ends up hating it since he claims his family tried to do everything and anything for him as their guest. He cuts it short and comes back and is absolutely delighted that his friends destroyed his home and gave him so much work to do.
- Stuff Blowing Up: Gopher blows up most of Rabbit's garden because he thinks that will make the corn ready for reseeding.
- Vacation Episode: Averted. We never get to see what Rabbit did while he was on vacation.
- Workaholic: Rabbit can't even stand to have his family doing anything for him, so he cuts his vacation short. When he gets home and sees the horrible state of his garden and house, he's overjoyed at how much work he has to do to fix them and declares that he'll never have to take a vacation again.
